I wish Dragon Age 2 was as epic as this...

Fanboys and masses would not accept that some no-names would do voice acting. Fanboys and masses want movie stars doing voice acting so they can tout the Super Star and make fan postings of her voice and how they want she does the voice acting in all sequels.
Then fans are Sandal-happy playing 5 playthroughs in same subpar city doing 5 x Y similar dungeon rushes.
BioWare Delivers!
Are you a complete retard or what? Movie stars didn't do Warden's fall you ****, but they were good quality voice actors. If Bioware delivered, they would have voice actors at least HALF as good as that.
this is really depressing. everyone but the grey warden and the elf sounds like a gremlin. otherwise, I had no idea what was really happening.
and you might not be able to think clearly right now from all the sweat and red and rage, but you didn't understand a word of what that guy you quoted said.

supposedly this is the story of Justice's host body and how he came to be...well, dead.Niniva wrote...
I read somewhere this is considered canon? Is it true?
But yes, good stuff! I wish the games were as intense as this. But as others have said, it's hard to compare a series
like this to a game.

[*]I know but you have to agree that they used engine to its full potential in regards of cut scenes thus making cut scenes more epic than both dao and da2 combined.Seival wrote...

Skip to 4 min mark and watch until the end.
By the way! Anyone know why they aren't continuing anymore? EA pressure them?
This movie is very good, but:
- This is scripted move on DA:O engine, it's not a game.
- This is just small part of another story (if there is a whole story at all).
- It can't be compared with DA:O or DA2. Let them make their own game with combat and hundreds of different dialogue scenes, than we will talk again.
[*]Voice acting is very passionate as well.
[*]DAmn i cant get rid of these damn bulletpoints

Wow, those guys should make DLC for dragon age origin!
Ugh... no, please... just no. Origins is old news, obsolete, and a piece of garbage. The first 10 hours or so of the game are so linear it's not even funny.

And how is Dragon Age 2 any less linear?

If only Hawke sent me shivers like that when I chose the "bad" option.

I was just thinking the exact same thing. Hawke with that voice would definitely have been a serious improvement.
Something I've never quite understood is why Bioware have never gone all the way with the "dark fantasy" idea despite both DA:O and DA2 being already (in the UK at least) 18 rated adult games. Its not like their going to get pushed into a rating above adult.
This video series (I'd encourage people to watch the whole lot) demonstrates how a darker and more serious tone can be achieved using the same technology. Just from the point of view of visual style and atmospheric tone I think the franchise could learn a lot here.
Good post.
There's so much potential in the Dragon Age world, if done correctly, I don't get why Bioware doesn't go further in the gritty Dark Fantasy theme. Especially since there aren't many games that push the envelope in that regard.

The Wardens Fall series is pretty old now, are you guys really just seeing it?
Not everybody knows about it, I only saw it on you tube last year when a friend told me about it.
It's not like Machima is buying advertisments for the episodes.
