Was just wondering if anyone else encountered this.. While I was fighting the Qunari before Act 2 ended (so when they attack the city) Allistair made a cameo appearance in my game and said he had somewhere important to be.

Did anyone else get this cameo? Or did someone different appear based on your Origins story?

If you make Allistair a warden at the end of DAO he appears there. Otherwise it'd a generic warden.

If he was made king he'll show up in Act 3 for a cameo as a royal visit.

Alistair has three possible cameos. As Grey Warden as drunk in the hanged man or as King of Ferelden. It depends on your DAO playthrough.

I saw Alistair at the Keep, since I put him on as King. I saw Leliana in Sebastian's quest, found out she became the right-hand of the Divine in Orlais, and then saw her again end-game. Zevran I encountered up on Sundermount.
