What kind of DLC would you like to see?

More hairstyles / tattoos
Collections of new armor/weapons
New monsters
New areas / quests
I heard somewhere that they may be planning up to two years of DLC? That's a long time if it's true, curious to see what sorts of things might come out.

Well, you pretty much covered all the things they could possibly release as DLC. Aside from maybe a multiplayer mode or something, but that's very unlikely.

i'd pay for another origin, bundled with some new creator options and maybe a side quest, but i refuse to pay for any type of armor (unless it's insanely cheap, extremely bad ass and comes with a set for my XBL avatar too!!) or weapon or xp % boost (all things mentioned in the survey)
you can see Bioware's footprint all over the current DLC (stone prisoner, equip rewards for pre-orders, character creator uploads, flash game, ect). And future DLC quests and such I will gladly shell out my hard earned $$$ for. But any Item DLC or other stuff along those lines will have the EA stamp (ne one play madden or NCAA this year...money hungry much?) all over it. no thanks.

- First and foremost, a romance with a female elf of course. Preferably a city gal, but as far as NPCs go perhaps a dalish elf would be more suitable. There's simply no viable romance option for elven males as of now.
- Second, I'd like to see the Human Commoner origin make a reapperance. Closely followed by a dalish elf mage origin. The mage origin being shared between two races and there only being one uniquely human origin is just far too constricting.
- Third, I'd like more specilizations. Aside from Ranger, I just can't find anything for the rogue that fits my character - and it's not even that special of a character, just a dalish scout. Lots of melee and magic centrism, where's the bow & crossbow love?

I'd be happy with new area DLC, much like how oblivion handled Foresaken Isles. Maybe some extra quest packs and definately new class specializations for increased game longevity.

I despise when new content comes out for a game long after release that requires you to go back into a previous save-game... What I want is expansion BEYOND the end of the main story, like Fallout 3's Broken Steel (which removed the hard locked ending) and Point Lookout. I also would like to see new Origins like many other posters. The lack of a human commoner Origin seems a glaring ommision.

Adding an origin is much more work than I think you guys realise. They have to make 3 hours of solid gameplay that ties into the actual world in more ways then just "Oh yeah, you killed that one guy a while back". If you've watched any of the videos you'd of heard them say that the origin stories define you as a player and have a HUGE impact on the game and how NPCs view you. It's not as simple as starting you off somewhere different with a few different quests to mess around with.

I don't necessarily see how it would be so difficult if they left an opening to do it. I mean, any plugin is going to change the main game so what would be the difficult of having one that starts you off on a different footing. Do you seriously believe that the game will be completely different for each Origin? No, that'd be crazy.

More Voice options. I want an innocent voice, young voice, but I'm sure the community will come out with more voices.

obviously guesses at this point, but I imagine if your origin is as important as we have been led to believe--yes, the game will play differently for each one: even if it's something as simple as NPC dialogue and different reactions/demeanors towards you. They might be subtle differences, but I imagine enough of the world is wrapped into reactions to you (ie, some people might attack you based on race, or others defend you--templars hating on mages etc)--so simply plugging in another origin would have to overlap with an original one, unless they were prepared to rework a lot more.

* We currently have a mage -> warrior subspec which is still mainly magic orientated, same with the Shapeshift branch (granted we dont know much about the shifting abilities in each form). It'd be nice to see a more Warrior -> Quasi magic subspec which offers a few magical abilities (somewhat similar to a Reaver I suppose) or a even a warrior who purposefully gains lycanthropy but to gain advantages (oh BG II, only real RPG to give that nice tasty werewolf love!).
*Perhaps romance options outside of it being a main follower i.e. a long quest where you help someone and they form a new romance, but dont necessarily travel with you.
And of course new generic stuff like spells, abilities, challenges etc.
