 My save will not let me enter the final battle - as soon as I try to access the Gallows from the docks I'm met with a never-ending loadig screen.

Any help/advice out there?

that's okay, you just got to the cliff hanger a little earlier..

but seriously, try using a save from an early point in the game and getting back to the gallows.
