Sorry I know this has been asked already but don't think there was any real answer. Ok so is it possible for Fenris to move in. I have looked around to see if anyone has managed it but still no definitive answer. Some say that the strategy guide says it is possible.
So hold your hands up all those who managed to get Fenris to move in. Anders the old slapper hops glady from your bed to moving in but Fenris is a stubborn git....lol
Thanks very much in advance.

From what I understand, only Anders and Merrill will move in with you, the others, not so much.

I don't think it's possible. I have yet to find anybody who's gotten him to move in. Sorry. I know he always runs off after sexy time in act 2 regardless of freind/rival path but he technically he COULD move in with Hawke in act 3 when they get back together but he just doesn't. Sadness.

Some dev on some thread confirms that the guide book was wrong and Fenris will never move in with you... It's true, even if I don't have actual proof in the form of a link.

Why would he move out of his big mansion, to move into your big mansion? Besides Hawke and Fenris are practically neighbors.

I have read a couple posters who've said you can ask Fenris to move in with you but I have never gotten that dialogue. I'm wondering what sequence triggers it. One poster said that in Act 3 you can go to his mansion after his sister dies or is set free - he says "I have no one" - then you can say "You have me" to which he seems to struggle, then has to go get some air. Later, he comes back or comes to your house (I forget which) and you can flirt with him and you can kiss and get back together. After THAT, you can talk to him and get a scene where Aveline and Varric are suggesting he find another place to live. Then you can suggest he move in with you. He won't show up at your house, like Merrill and Anders but at least you get the dialogue to ask him.
I had a different experience though. When I went to his place, I never got the option to say "you have me" even though I was at 100% friendship. I hadn't given him the sword of mercy yet so maybe that's why. Does anyone have any ideas? Or, does anyone have a video at least of that dialogue where you can ask him to move in???
Thanks!

"You have me" option, only occurs if you prevent Fenris from killing his Sister for leading Denarius to him? I don't know what happens if you let Fenris kill his sister.

*edited for more detail
Hmm... I didn't let him kill her and I still never got that exact line choice. I was able to say "Whatever happens, I hope we'll be together" or something like that to which he responds "that is my hope as well" followed by the "we never really talked about 3 yrs ago..." line.
My understanding is that the "you have me" option is a star option (an extra option beyond the normal "good", "sarcastic", "agressive" options) meaning that something has to happen in order for you to get it.
Anyone have a video of their PC asking Fenris to move in? Two people have said they got it and I'm trying to figure out how.
In two playthroughs I have:
- chosen every heart option playing a mage
- not chosen every heart option playing a rogue
- both times, he sleeps with my PC but how he gets there is different
- if I have chosen every heart it's "command me to go and i will"
- if not, my PC can say "don't go" and Fen gets a lyrium hot flash (hehee)
- in neither playthrough do I ever see Varric/Aveline suggesting he move out of his mansion, to which PC can say "move in with me"
Anyone help?

I don't know where the post is, but DG confirmed somewhere that Fenris doesn't move in.

Ya, I realize he doesn't ever actually hang out at your mansion like Merrill/Anders do but people have reported getting a dialogue where you can ask him to move in. That's what I'm looking for. Details above.

Well, in that particular dialogue, the line "whatever happens, I hope we'll be together" is paraphrased as 'stay with me'. Because he'd been talking about not knowing where to go, I too at first thought that was the 'move in with me' option. It's not hard to believe others could make the same mistake too; is it not possible that that's what happened with the two people you heard from?
I've explored his dialogue quite thoroughly on both rivalry and friendship paths, and I've never gotten the option to ask him to move in, or heard from anyone else who has. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding?

Taken from the dragon age wikia:
"For a Friendship romance, Aveline and Varric will be there if you haven't spoken to Isabela yet, if not she will be there, trying to convince Fenris to find a better place to live. However, unlike Merrill and Anders,
Fenris does not have the option of moving into the Hawke manor. He does
not wish to give up this part of his past just yet, and is struggling
with the very concept of freedom. Hawke can console him at this point,
and the option to state that he/she does not care what Fenris does as
long as he is by his/her side will be available. Like in the Rivalry romance, he will apologize for walking out on the relationship in Act II, and the option to forgive him is available.
"
So maybe if the Isabela scene happens there is an option to ask him to move in? I don't know. Either way, he does not move in.

It's possible but one of the posters (who has not responded to my queries) describes the scene:
You go to Fenris' mansion after he confronts Denarius. Aveline and/or Varric are there talking to Fenris. They suggest he moves out of his dilapidated mansion. At that point, you can suggest he move in with you. This is the dialogue I have never seen. I don't think this is a misunderstanding. I think it is a scene I have not gotten for whatever reason and I'm trying to figure out what triggers it.
ANyone have a video of this scene?

Thank you, Apirka!!! That is helpful. I will wait to talk to Isabela and try to get the Aveline/Varric scene instead... we'll see if it's any different.

Okay, I tried the Isabela scene, and no there was no option of asking him to move in. I tried every dialouge option.

So, I never got Fenris to move in with me, but we had "angry sex", then he left. When the mission for his sister came up I let him kill his sister and then right there in the hanged man he said he had no one. I had a star option come up, at which point I chose it and told him he had me. Then he said something to the effect of "I am yours". We never slept together again, but every character in the game commented on our relationship, Anders even took me aside and tried to dissuade me from being with Fenris. Isabella also asked about if he still had shackles or something, Merrill accused him of being in love with me, and Varric asked about the details of our relationship so he could get it straight when he told my story. Then at the end of the game when Varric is telling the story to the Seeker he says, "eventually we all left her side, that is except Fenris. He always stayed with her." I never had 100% rivalry or friendship with him and I was a mage. I also took him on every mission I went on. I never found a book, but when I gave him the sword he yelled at me and told me to leave. Hope that's helpful.

Sounds like you had at least 50% rival points with Fenris. It is helpful to know that the "you have me" star option can come up even if you are rivaled. Thanks!
Did you ever get the Isabela scene where he tells her he stays in the mansion because he likes the view and she says "so do I" or did you get the Varric/Aveline scene where they try to get him to move to a different place?

Thanks for that screenie!
I'm not getting the "You have me" line at all. On one playthrough, I only had the 3 on the right. On another, the "You're blaming magic?" option was added. So, I'm not sure if the "You have me" line is a star for some and a heart for others? *shrug*
Come on community! Where is that Aveline/Varric video?!?!

I found a Varric-Aveline video on youtube.
edit: Just asking, did you flirt or romance anyone else after Fenris broke up with you in Act 2? I believe the romance ends if you sleep with another companion.

There was a scene with Isabaella, but it was not good. He was basically telling her she was a **** and he wanted nothing to do with her. I never got the Aveline/Varric scene at all. When I got the scene Aprika showed there was no "Your blaming magic?", option. I never did anything except for flirt with Anders once, and accidently with Merril once. Which led to her coming to my Mansion wanting a relationship and I had to do the broken heart sign (sorry but this girl only likes men). So no, I never had any relations with any other characters. Did anyone else ever get a heart symbol with Varric? I did once, but never acted on it, just curious?

Did anyone ever finish and have Varric explain that Fenris and the Champion stayed together? My husband played through with Merril as his partner and Varric did not mention anything about Merril staying by his side.

I think the epilogue is broken some, I romanced Merrill as MHawke, tho i did isabela with no hard feelings way before, isa left in act 2 never returned but Merrill moved in and all still got the epilogue of everyone left but isabella. When i romanced [ which *sigh I cant seem to NOT choose him now] Fenris, epilogue was correct in that Fenris stayed with my LadyHawke, SO im nto sure its totally trustworthy tho.. mb only isabella breaks it?
