DA2 was more like a romance movie, with passion and dialogue and kissing, though a fade-to-black on the sex itself. DA:O as more like porn. All sex, no love or real sense of connection. Just two bodies slapping.

While ME 1 had passion, kissing, sex, real sense of connection and love all together.

ADULTS don't need the nudity. Bioware keeps pushing the emotional connection and the actual relationship rather than just the pillow fun.

Just wait for them to release a tool set and you'll get your pixel porn.

Adults don't need the nudity? Haha nice one. Please explain me why the porn industry is so successful?

Now, I personally don't mind at all not seeing nudity in a game, but it is possible to do something sexy and emotional that actually is good and works. And I refer to the Mass Effect 1 love scene. In my taste, that was perfect.

The only character in DA2 that I felt attraction for was my sister; which was a perverse thought throughout the game because she is the only attractive female you are in contact with. To pull it off, the story could have had her demon possed or somesuch. Then they could have earned their mature rating.

I think some idea of sexuality should come up in RPG's because despite some denials it is a major part of our real life thought process. And really is "an adult" truly happy with money and power, but alone? I collect gold throuout the game but don't get any joy from it.
As to the nudity dispute, sometimes dressed is more attractive than undressed. And good dialogue and inuendo can be more interesting (or provacative) than illustration.

DA2 romance was so bad for me that I resorted to a homosexual relationship because I liked the character and looked away during the kissing scene. At the time, I praised the maker Bioware was not more explicit in the visuals.

This game seems much more focused on gay/lesbian/transvestite sex than straight sex. Just an observation. It also seems that once you have sex, the relationship ends at that point. This is just another point that diminishes this game in comparison to original.

Sex in this game should be like a fight. 'button 1' sex move 1 'button 2' sex move 2 etc.... only messing, lol. XD

Blame Fox News.

Blame stupid parents that let their 10 year old kids play M rated games, then complain about it for being an M rated game.

Blame a lot of things.

We've all seen Mass Effect. I think it's safe to say that if they could, Bioware would definitely put more spice in their games. Their hands are tied.

No, I disagree, I think you're onto something here. In light of Bioware's design philosophy, "YOU PRESS A BUTTON, SOMETHING AWESOME HAPPENS, PRESSING BUTTON, AWESOME CONNECTED", your suggestion is sheer brilliance. I abhor the lack of awesomeness in DA2's love scenes. Least awesome part of the game, definately.

The Mass effect 1 sex or love scene was so tastefully. And so full of emotions and not that ridiculous number with Isabela.
A comedy number in a bloody game.

Yes because games should never have anything funny in them. And there's no such thing as romantic comedies.

I would prefer either a fade to black (like Fallout 2, KotOR 2, etc.), a full sensual scene like ME1, or no romance at all.

So either don't do it, do it right and let us use our imaginations, or do it right and guide us along.

The scenes in DA:O were good, but remove the underwear and use camera angles (like ME) to not become Adult rated. DA2 ... I don't know what to say. No sex at all would have been better.

Let's face it, the sex scenes in origins were a total joke (at least to me anyway)

And yes, we don't get to see as much in DA2, but those last few moments before the fade to black...mmm...

Besides, I appreciate that Varric didn't actually 'make it up' as he threatened to earlier. Cassandra doesn't need to know all the details of my love life.

Yeah, I remember the day when I turned 18 and suddenly found graphical nudity totally unappealing because apparently that was they way I had to role.

Yeah, one character just lays awkwardly on another and sort of moves around in a way that can only be interesting to the parties involved.  So--more like real sex.

It doesn't need to have nudity thats not the point of it. Just show us buttocks / side breast...That's fine and not explicit.
So far their best scene was with Liara / Ashley. It just needs to be ... memorable?

The worst thing in this is the fact that the ones making the pressure are parent of 12 years old kid.
I mean WTF is your kid doing playing M rated games like DA mass effect and call of duty. Be a good father/mother and don't let your kids play those kind of game. I mean, when your 17+ I don't think mama and papa wil really give a f*** about the kind of game your playing.

I can really well remember my mother forbidding me of playing any kind of action game, she didn't even care about the rating, she just didn't want me to play any kind of violent game. (so I had to sneak during the night to play my fun games :P) At least I was the one buying the games. Not my parents

Everytime it's the same argument that comes up when people want to go back to the quality of love scenes like in ME 1.
" Get a life, go out find a women and...."

Thanks I've got one, I can have sex if I want but what the most of you don't get is:
Bioware is good at creating a fantasy world and realistic characters. I can be the dragon slayer or the savior of the universe with amazing buddys at my side, and even fall in love with them, but while I can pulverize my enemys in a sick way of manner and every detail I can't have the sex that is tastefull and the top of a pursued relationship through the game.
It simply sticks out of the rest of the game.
We know that Bioware is capable of doing so since ME 1 and I think that I can speak for the most when I say: This is the way it should be done, not more nor less.

And in addition: Promoting a game with the sick violence that is included in a game like Dead Space 2 is okay but not love or realistic romances. no you get a FOX News scandal!
How about that EA? Scandals will and have be good for the selling numbers btw...

Bioware has been a little on the tame side, every since that Fox news crap with Mass Effect 1.

I agree with the ME1 strategy. It was just enough to culminate the relationship without being over the top. I don't mind the "fade to black". We are adults and we know what happens after that.

What I wish DO2 had done was give you more moments with the person you chose to romance. Showing the emotional connection and why they are together is in my opinion is better than showing them "together".

loool this made my day  Mass Effect 1 had THE best sex scene I ever saw in video game, that was direction Bioware should take with sex scenes. It was mature, intimate and all in all very well done, it certainly added to experience. Instead we got fade to black with fully clothed characters.

She is happy.

Me..not so much.

That **** didn't know what the f*** she was talking about. Her ****ing book was bull****, man-hating swill. she had the gall to complain when people defended Bioware by Raiding Amazon to vote down her stupid ****. Posted Image

With a decent nude mod they were pretty good.  They weren't gratuitous or particularly graphic - they just looked honest.

So much of DAO was improved with a basic nude mod that I wonder if the game was actually designed for nudity, but then that nudity was removed at the last minute (that would explain the terrible underwear design, as well).
