When Varric wraps up his story with a not-so-neat little bow, he mentions that all the companions left Hawke's side except for one. I'm assuming that this is supposed to be the LI we went with, right? Only thing is, he said Isabela and not Fenris as I was expecting.
My Hawke did have a one-time thing with Isabela, but after I chose the "This was just for fun!" option nothing else ever came after it and I went for Fenris. At the gates dialogue with Fenris I got the "romance" achievement.
So is this just a bug/plot-flag issue for me, or is Isabela going to be really important in DA3?

No, if you sleep with Isabella that one time, then it says that during the ending no matter what happens. how it effects the future save game... I dunno.

I guess as they say, you never forget your first...

Hopefully Bioware releases a patch to fix that bug. In my current playthrough, I'm with both Isabela and Fenris, but planning on making Fenris my "full" romance.

I'm pretty sure this is some kind of bug. Almost everyone who even flirted with Isabela has gotten this... hell, I gave her to the Arishok and I got that ending too!

Ah, that's annoying! Why is every BW product so riddled with bugs... *grumble*
Thanks for the clarification, though!

Their games are riddled with bugs because of all the different interacting flags that the games use. That being said, I do find it annoying sometime. Luckily for me I had eyes for anyone but Merrill so she was the one mentioned at the end of the game for me. Sorry to hear that it didn't work for you.

It wouldn't be a BioWare game if it was bug free, payroo!

There's always at least one big bug. One big plot bug too.

There is another one that kinda makes tanking a joke. If you put on a shield, take it off, and put it on again it doubles your defense (or armor, I can't remember which right now). Do it multiple times and it keeps adding on points. A few dozen clicks and your tank's a beast.

It's CRAZY cheap of a bug and I totally stumbled upon it by comparing stats, something you'd think the game testers would have done a dozen times a sitting.
