So on my current play through i'm trying to get the Arcane Defender achievement, I sided with the mages in almost all the quests I was supposed to, except for two I think:

Wayward Son: Sent him to the Dalish
An Act of Mercy: Didn't agree to kill Thrask
Enemies Among Us: Let Keran stay in the templars
Night Terrors: Got Feynriel to control his abilities
Showdown: Sided with Orisno, not sure if this one made it though
On the Loose: Let Emile go free
Best Served Cold: Killed the blood mages

I didn't recieve the achievement for it, so if anyone has any advice as to what i'm doing wrong, please tell me.

Is killing the blood mages the "mage decision" during best served cold? I unlocked the achievement and i did everything you did, aside from getting Feynriel to control his abilities.

I'd also like some clarification on which decisions in which quest count towards which side. I'm not sure that simply refusing to kill Thrask counts as the Templar decision during Act of Mercy; i think that you need to send Grace with the Templar that wants to kill her.
