I started playing DA2 last night and I created a thief. The first thing that I noticed is that in DA2 there is no option to have 2 different set of weapons ready (like two daggers in 1 config and a bow in the other config and be able to switch between them). I liked this feature in the DA1, I would have my bow and hit the enemies from afar and when they would come close I would switch weapons to my double daggers.

Is the feature there and I do not see it? Can it be added back if it was removed?

The first impressions of the game are great. Loving it.

I too miss the feature. It's gone, as far as I know. It's a real pain to have to go into inventory and manually reconfigure, and since so many weapons have just a generic name (ie: dagger) for a description, it's also easy to miss putting my best weapon into play. Just one of the limitations of this release. Hopefully it will be added in a patch. But, that's all it is: hope.

Why are you even equipping something named Bow and just Bow?

It is not in there. However, with the new system of "junk", it's not too bad going into the inventory, since you should only have your good weapons in there. Everything else can be labeled as "junK" by right clicking on the item.
It would be easier if it was in there, but it's not too bad...

Or Y for XBox or uh...what's that top button on the PS Controller? Triangle?
