Hello everyone.

I recently bought The Exiled Prince for Dragon Age 2. I've installed it and everything, and the marker for the quest shows.
When I walk up to Sebastian, standing at the Chanter's Board, the cutscene starts, and when it ends, a questmark shows up at the Chanter's Board. I walk up to the Chanter's Board, and when I try to interact with it, an interaction mark doesn't show. I've tried to shut the game down and start it up again, but that didn't work. I have also tried to reboot my computer, but that didn't work either. I wrote to EA about it, and they suggested that I should post a topic about it, and so I did.
Now I am asking you to help me, and if you would happen to know the solution to my problem, I would be forever grateful.
I thank you for reading my post, and I hope to see an answer soon Image IPB

Exact same issue here, so it is not an isolated issue. Any further progress?

Haven't been trying to fix it, except for the time where i discovered it. I might think that it has something to do with me completing The Deep Roads Expedition, but I'm not sure.

Initially i was thinking that the problem was when the DLC activated on Act2 but it is not.
The bug happens when you read the board BEFORE founding Sebastian and activate the quest for the Chantry, if you made this then the DLC fails and the board cannot be read to begin the search of the DLC.

The solution is to load a previous game where you have not activated the normal search of the plank and then you will be able to play the DLC.

I encountered the same problem. I approached support with this and asked if this quest could be started at any moment (act1, 2....). Since nothing in this regard was mentioned in the DLC's description. So I bought it with Bioware points, because it looked like fun.
In a reply I was assured by support that this should be possible. So I reinstalled several times as advised and still no access to the chanters board.

Since this didn't have the wished for result I did some testing with old saved files and found out it is only accessible before and just after the Deep Road expedition. This a big disappointment and would I have know I wouldn't have spend my money on this DLC.

No reimbursement is given and the only advice is to do a replay. I wont mention what I am thinking about this.

So people be aware about this and don't spend money on this if you aren't starting or still in act 1.

Same problem here. Not really a big disappoint compared to the Black Emporium, being that you pay 800 points for just a store. EA/BW should get this updated because I've experienced several loading bugs and targeting bug.

FYI: Ive been playing PC games since BG2, and this has got to be the worst game for bugs so far.

Whats going on BW?

I hope ME3 wont be like that....

a little @#%$ that I spent $ for couple hundred xp points. Nowhere was it mentioned the DLC requirements, like skipping details that you must be in Act 1 or 2. I went to a game save right before the chantry was blown and got an entire 1 fight scene out of this DLC. Little details like this make bioware faction go down. good game dont get me wrong, but stuff like this... like not being able to do anything after you beat the game... even if you buy a DLC, in my case, i got a whole quest out of Exiled Prince.
