Has anyone encountered any Genlocks in DA2? Are there any at all? Seems like the variety of creatures are a bit limited...

Nope, the only darkspawn types i've seen have ben Hurlocks and Ogres. There are Emissaries but they look like Arcane Horrors, not darkspawn.

For some reason BioWare decided to redesign the Darkspawn and only have Hurlocks and Ogres which I don't understand at all.
They should have kept the original design as well as the Genlocks and Shrieks. They looked a bit LordOfTheRing-ish, but thats what made them look cool.

No Genlocks or Shrieks in DA2. Yet anyway, maybe a DLC but not sure if it is really worth it. Darkspawn don't really show up alot in DA2.

I'm kind of glad that we don't see too much of the new darkspawn, as I have had a hard time adjusting to their new looks. It would be interesting to see how genlocks and shrieks look now, but I'm glad in a way that we are fighting much more other opponents now.
