What spell are the enemy mages using against me where there is a ball of energy that explodes and throws me on the floor. can hawke use that spell I didnt notice it. I thought it was on the force mage tree but it was not one of them.

Enemy mages have spells Hawke can't learn. Odd, but that's the way it is. I wish teleport would be available for mage Hawke.

I was astonished the first time a Qunari mage did that to me. At first I thought it was something that only they could do, but I think most enemy mages can use it... the Blood Wound that enemy blood mages use is also incredibly devastating... my whole team has been wiped out in 1 hit several times by that.
I also wish we had access to the teleport spell, AND the "Immunity to Damage" ability. >.>

If they enabled us to to do their spells the game would be far too easy as a human would know how to use the skills better. If we had them spells they would have to make the ai better or the game would be so easy.

Remember, magic does not allow you to travel between places, you have to use your feet. Unless you're a rogue.

Merril can get the teleport spell.
I want the spell that explodes and kills my entire team in about 3 seconds.

Yeah, one of my biggest complaints about this game is that pretty much all enemy mages and rogues have access to incredibly cheap tactics. The combination evade + stealth that assassins like to spam is particularly annoying. What's the cooldown on that for them anyway? And don't get me started on how I can have two tanks, a rogue, and a mage or archer beating on a single enemy spellcaster and they still get spells off, yet it seems like any old melee mob can stunlock my non-tanks at will. I litereally had a Shade get Merril in a corner last night and juggle her like it was Street Fighter or something. Guess I should put some points into that Shoryuken skill...

I RP it by pretending that since Hawke is an apostate he did not discovered/was teached those spells...
