mostly this question is about what sort of rings/amulet/belt to take for Hawke/companions

should I give items with +attack for melee/archers for them to hit harder with auto attacks or items with +stam or stam regen for them to be able to use special attacks more

for casters I have usually given items with +mana and +health

for armor runes, there doesn't seem to be any offensive runes, so is it best to use runes of defense or runes of protection for companions
