i cant get past this guy at all ive played on hard mode till now and i cant even do it on normal, i refuse to go down to casual, anyone got any tips? i get that youve gotta hide when he does that charge attack but thats all i got.
i barely last a couple of mins atm...my party is hawke (mage) varric, that rogue with herpes(forgot her name) and avaline

It's a breeze on normal.  You wanna unload on it when it's on the ground.  In fact on normal if you can cause enough dmg when it's on the ground it will skip phases and just stay in the middle.

What's your party setup?

ive got hawke as a elemental mage with heal, dual weilding rogue (gets killed within the first 10 seconds of the fight) and ur standard varric and aveline, this fight would be easier if the healing cooldowns werent so stupidly long

hide when it does the charge, avaline should have shield wall and turn the blade activated all the time, after it charges (and you hide) it turns into a pile of rubble. Use that time to use things like firestorm and tempest.

rinse repeat. Its a breeze.
