 so, even though the fadeshear levels up with you it still does less damage than anyother 1h sword...It only adds 1 damage per lvl so i find it hard to see the point in using it even against undead and fade creatures other swords do the same damage if not more and have better stats...anyone have an opinion on this matter?

Um, Fadeshear does the same amount of damage as the highest level 1H swords in the game (at 33 damage and 62 DPS at level 24 if I'm not mistaken). The amount of bonus damage it does to demons and undead is also unmatched by any other weapon. It is the best weapon for any situation that involves demons. The only reason you may want to use a different weapon is for stat purposes.

At least it levels up with you unlike Hayden's Razor which I wish leveled up because its the coolest looking 2h sword in the game imo.

It's one of those 'carry it around for special occasions' weapons. It can quickly be out done in damage, until you level up, but the demon/undead bonus damage makes it great.

I'm sure at some point its utility for anti-demon/undead goes away. Likely at the point where your rogue can backstab/assassinate a rage demon or pride demon in one go.

i glitched to lvl 44 and it does like 66 dps and all the other weapons deal like 30 lol thats a big difference

well when you first get it the base damge is 8 when all the other ones are like 12-16...and ontop of that it only goes up by one so once its up to 10 damage the other swords you can get are doing like 17 damage with good stats and rune slots..but you are right about it being a situational weapon for when your facing undead and demons, so thats what ill use it for.

there are tutorials on here and theres one in the mod section on dragon age nexus that tells you how to add scaling stats to your weapon using gffeditor

Fadeshear isn't usable with Dual Wield in this game. Only daggers of all sorts can be used with DW.
