[DA Trap Star]

What number dagger did you get , I'm curious to see if theres really 1000 of them and they are really numbered.

You get it from a sidequest in act 2 by killing a Templar who trying to get revenge for something you did in act 1.

I received the 413 of 10000. At first I was like "hmmm, does this mean that I can only use this dagger for 1000 hits?"
Then common sense replaced my whimsical musings and I realized that it was the name of the dagger, much to my disappointment.

Thats lame, I thought it was a limited run. It would of been awesome and if it was actually a rare weapon that only 1000 people could get.

Maybe it's just me but I assumed it was a reference to Death by 1000 Cuts.

Or if it were a dagger that had a counterpart that, when paired together, would give a decent bonus.

Unless it actually IS that and I haven't found it...

i found all 1000 of them i sold them to Old Tegrin
in exchange of me and him never to cross paths ever AGAIN!!!

I thought you had to kill 587 of something to make it a bad ass dagger, sadly i was mistaken. But yes, 413 of 1000 is the same I have. nothing inherently special aside from having ( ) in it's name.

Some weapons/armor are only available if you take certain quest routes. In this case, you need to have freed Grace and her friends via killing the templars in Act 1. In Act 2 you then get to do The Midnight Meeting where you get this dagger. This is one of the consequences I have in playing the game mostly the same way in each time. While I still enjoy it, I'm unfortunately limiting myself by not seeing other content. However I might plan on making certain decisions when I begin a new play, I can never quite do them when the time comes. Oh well...
