i bought the dragon age origins collector's edition in germany and i have all the spoken texts in english, but i cannot change the written dialogue texts to english, they're all in german and that's a real killer concerning atmosphere. is there any way how to change the text-language? i cannot do it in the configuration programme

Hi, I had exactly the same problem. Here's how I made it work....

1.

> open from DVD1 campaign_tt_english.rar with WinRar

> navigate to ..modules\\single player\\data\\talktables

> extract file singleplayer_en-us.tlk to ..\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player\\data\\\\talktables



2.

> open from DVD1 english.rar with WinRar

> navigate to ..packages\\core\\data\\talktables

> extract file core_en-us.tlk to ..\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\data\\talktables



3.

> in the Dragon Age: Origin-configuration program switch Language (Sprache) to English (... and save the configuration)
> run the game and enjoy :-)

I had the same problem with the Hungarian localized version.

After reading your post I've successfully changed the language to English.
