What "rage"?

I just dont like about 80% of DA2. and try to talk about that in Forums.
The combat is Childish and Stupid.
The story is Boring.
And DA2 has no innovation if you compare with DA:O. Its like a DA:O but with less of everything. Its like they tried to remove everything good from DA:O and say thats "Envolving the RPG genre"

Its good to see im not the only one thinks that DA2 is a huge Failure.

Its not the worst Game Ever.. not even close. But its the worst Game from Bioware i ever played on the PC, and again .. not even close...

In the end, i was disappointed. I enjoyed the game while playing it for the most part but i felt like i should have been sitting on my couch instead of at my pc desk. I wasnt left eager for more and left feeling drained after finishing it like i was when playing DA:O. As soon as i finished DA:O the first time i started right up again. I havent started a second play through of DA2 yet.

Too many basic changes imo.

Basically, DA2 has a pathetic storyline, cardboard cut out NPCs and recycled zones. The sad part is the vast majority of the game takes place in one city, yet the starting part (fleeing loethering) looks better than any part of the city, and that is a wasteland. The NPCs that populate the city look worse than NPCs in games that were made 10+ years ago.

Well what can I say it was a dissapointment at best...

Character development was woeful. I had no care or feelings for the characters what-so-ever.
Why can't the character development and subsequent sub-plots for them actually be interesting like DA:O..I miss Alistair and mor :(!

The story had a slight glimmer of hope! And then it all falls through. DA2 feels like 3 short stories rolled into a childs book and obviously the plots are mixed in, with one taking precadent over the other in each act but they just arent strong like other Bioware games.

What is the first act actually for? The only new place throughout the entire game is the deep roads.....and thats a few weeks of game story that lasts about one (or two) hours. Serious let down to be honest.

Act two, was quite interesting and I liked the whole Qunari thing going on! But again, total let down the story seemed half assed. Bioware essentially advertised and subsequently let the whole world know the games story and how it ends-happens etc etc in the release trailiers Destiny and Power.

Combat is fun and enjoyable, it is an improvement on DA:O although my fingers do hurt from the button mashing!
Graphics are fine! Although the gitters in cut scenes are particuliarly annoying!

And don't even get me started on the reused environments its actually embaressing.........and incredibly annoying to see the same dungion for the tenth time! (especially if you do alot of the side quets like I did)

The first BW game I played was not Baldurs it was Knights Of The Old Republic and to this day is still one of my favourite games ever. As is Mass Effect 1 & 2. I judge every Bioware game now upon how well KOTOR was for me, in story, cinematics, character development and gameplay (obviously KOTOR wasnt perfect but it was still brilliant) and Dragon Age 2 is a complete fail in my opinion. I am currently on my third play through (first being warrior, mage now a rogue) Just to see how the story unfolds (and so far its still a fail). I would of put the game down on my first playthrough but I am trying to get all the achievements.

One or two other pet peevs, the amount of useless crap you get in this game is mind boggling? Why oh why does half or more of my inventry consist of junk that can't be used....and the lack of character armour customisation is also annoying. Grrr although Merrils armour is sweet once you romance her!

I completed my second playthrough in 20 hours..I was dissapointed this is not what Bioware should be making. Oh and to the people who feel the need to say its not Bioware's fault..it is just as much as EA's.

So in conclusion, for me this game is a total pile of s*** and I will be trading it in as soon as I get the final few of my achievements.

I just played it for a good 6 hours.Im not disappointed at all actually. The detail is actually better than the original. Its evolved since Origins.Load screens are faster as are swapping characters in and out.

Definetly not a kids game.If some adults take offense well then dont play it.If your easily offended sexually, religiously or verbally,  dont play it.This game is a refreshing change because its an adult game at its core essentially.

The combat mode is also a nice change.Auto attack has its moments but this places the player right in the thick of it.

Two years after the Origins ,many good modders have come out with some exceptional add ons for Origins.Id expect the same for DA 2 over the same time period.I like it and give it a 9/10 easy.Posted Image
