I don't know why people are expecting reapers to show up in Arrival. Quite a lot of people dont buy DLC and when they start ME3 and the reapers are allready here then it wouldn't make any sense. The reaper invasion will begin in ME3 IMO.

"Arrival" could mean anything. The Rachni are a possibility or maybe a new alien species but not the reapers.

Rachni wouldn't make much sense, as the Rachni Queen could be killed in ME1... unless they're replacing the rachni queen you could kill for a new, unknown Rachni planet/base... meh I don't think the Rachni will appear in a DLC for ME2.... I assume they will be there in ME3 otherwise saving them would be an utter waste...

I hope we get to return to a bunch of the places we visited in ME1... also I hope the Tayseri ward will be opened up! ^__^ thinking that there are several characters on the Citadel who mention that ward, (and the wreckage of Sovereign crashing through it) it might be something worth considering... going back into the Citadel to find left over wreckage chunks from Sovereign, maybe you have to buy em (/kill) off of one of the scavengers that've been mentioned... (they may be brainwashed by the salvaged stuff) and move from there... maybe the loving Dr. (what'shername) that we're rescueing found something... =) I'd love this DLC to have us revisit a bunch of places from ME1...! (Noveria or Feros maybe?)

I  sincerely hope we get to revisit Noveria in ME3... maybe only if we saved the Rachni Queen... =)

Personally I see this as a Prelude to ME3 you know a little DLC left in a cliff hanger to make you want to pre-order ME3 to see what happens. And to promote the sales of the Alternate Look DLC that came out WAY to late to be used by anyone that had the game on time. But thats just me.

That would be amazing. I was going through old DLCs are realized that there was a gap of nearly two months between the announcement of LotSB and the actual release. Hopefully that won't happen here...

Interesting.  I'd be inclined to believe it, but they're also saying that Mass Effect 3 will be released in November as if it's fact. 

Still, I'd be happy if it was true.

Would like to believe but somehow really doubt it is correct. Why would UK retailers know the release date of DLC? And even if they did, it's probably a guess.. as we've seen with other things like Deception or ME3's release date.

Wouldn't make sense.

If the relay points to a black hole or the center of a star (which would explain why said relay was somehow "turned off") then it could come in handy if the Reapers can be somehow led throug hit.  Who knows, maybe it takes "Dark Energy" to turn it back on....

Not saying it's likely or anything but since all we got are a few random pictures that don't really tell us anything then one speculation is as good as another I guess.

I don't believe it. No way would they give less than two weeks between date announcement and release. It's prolly just a placeholder date.

It is a Cerberus facility...how do I know? Because I just spent the past three quarters of an hour going over the 3rd screenshot in fine detail. I ajusted levels, brightness and contrast etc to try and find some clue.
I eventually found what seems to be the cerberus logo on the door.
Plus, this might just be me but if you really mess with the contrast, the normandy appears in the sky.
Have a look and see what you think!....

It might be an abandoned Cerberus base the Batarians are using... or perhaps the Dr.'s research was funded by Cerberus and this is her lab.

As for the release date, that would be awesome. That would mean we would get ME related content for the next 2 weeks (Evolution part 3 next week, Arrival the week after). But I doubt that... I would think they would want to finish Evolution off before giving us Arrival, if the contents of Evolution heavily relate to Arrival.
