You know... I really hope that's true.
We've never heard of Spacer Shepard's mother again after the short talk in ME1 and we never actually saw her. The other 2 backgrounds don't mention the parents or just claim you grew up without ever knowing them if I remember correctly so that'd still be possible. With the Reapers being obsessed about Shepard's body before it'd even make sense went if they went for relatives.
That'd mean the ultimate sacrifice is... Oh dear...
It all makes horrible sense now...
I personally feel that this would be absolutely ridiculous. Over the course of the first two games, we never even meet Hannah and you never hear of her at all if you're the other two backgrounds. There's no emotional attachment whatsoever. There's no way it's Shepard's parent.

lmfao, not only that...but the Earth born Shepard doesnt even HAVE a mother...and Spacer is the only one who you even hear about your mother with...im not even sure Colony shepard has a mother either...no way they would do the DLC when such a large aspect would be something MOST people couldnt use..thats ridiculous...and honestly if I where to guess I would think more people chose Earthborn anyways.

Not to mention Earthborn doesnt even have parents...they arent going to make a DLC involving an option I only think one of the three classes has...especially one as big as that...How would you possibly make Ultimate Sacrifice (assuming its the Spacers mother) equal to losing your mother for the Earthborn and Colony Shepards? Not happening...not to mention his mom randomly making an appearane in a DLC of all things seems stupid...I really think the demand is a little higher for Wrex/Kaiden/Ash rather than...his...mom? lol
edit...it made it look like my post didnt work so I typed one twice.

She's the real estate agent!
Sales rep: Here is the tool shed which is large enough for a Geth-build lawnmower. It also comes with an alarm clock!

Yes you can dream, but those of us of this side of the Date Line will see that time as Saturday, others on Sunday.
That time the BioWare devs will be at home. So no announcement will come then.
EDIT: And who's to say that the time doesn't actually mean 2 hrs 3 minutes 25 seconds and 26 milliseconds?

or it could mean 2 months..... if this is the last dlc and if it does release in may then what? does mass effect 3 get pushed to a possible closer date?

If it is two months it will make sense up until that 25 becomes hours so I think that's not right either.

Hey Chris, with THIS DLC can we have a fix for all of the import bugs, please?! They were all reported just days after the game came out, and you guys still haven't done anything about them. I am sad.
social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/831456
those are all actually export bugs in Mass Effect 1, not import bugs for Mass Effect 2. They'd have to patch ME1 to fix those problems. Which isn't going to happen, because they're busy with Arrival and ME3.
