overlord ran a similar length to LoSB and had an open-world area to explore.

I have an idea about one of screens. That Mass Relay battle will be in space, so we might actually see the Reaper fleet and run backwards or get evacuteded by Normandy while Fifth Fleet buys time to Shepard to get away with proof of Reaper existence.
It's just a highly probable theory according to The Ultimate Sacrifice achievement which leaked from PS3 version.

Or they just wanna get more people to buy this one. How well did LotSB sell at 800 points? I waited until it dropped down, sure wasn't paying that much.

actually i just went back and read the last few pages with the new info and batarians dont show up so where are you getting this info all it says is we are on the border of the galaxy

Maybe it was the Squad respec, and the gift station allowing you to get free stuff every real time day or after every mission. Maybe it was the base itself which has fun extras. Or maybe JUST MAYBE it was the follow up romance with Liara that pushed the price point up. Lair took me around 2 hours to beat, less upon replaying. I assume this DLC would be of comparable length to Overlord and Lair. Because I just replayed Overlord last night and that mission still takes a nice chunk of time to complete.

But just think, this DLC seems to be JAM PACKED with story information. Which is so totally worth it.

Excellent. We were hypothesising Batarian involvement earlier in both threads. I suggested it might have to do Bakah (or is it Bakat?) the region mentioned in CDN.

Plus there was that CDN about SSV budapest going into batarian space, then withdrawing when the batarians wanted to retaliate. Would make sense if the undercover agent was going to be rescued by that ship, but when the Batarians notice, Hackett calls in Shepard, who is non-Alliance technically, to take the stealthy SR2 in to get them.

Got to be a connection, you think?

Thanks for the link. I've been so focused on being on the lookout for any news on the DX11 fixing Dragon Age II patch, so I haven't researched Arrival all that much.
