Can anyone tell what heavy weapon that is? I don't recognize it
It's a rocket launcher.
You can get with 2nd heavy weapon upgrade and every damn enemy but Collectors and Mechs use it against you.

Think of the larger picture. It wouldn't simply be turn off relay, it would cripple humanity by cutting them off from the homeworld. I am not saying this is what is going to happen but I almost expect something like this to happen by the end of ME3
I think that will happen in DLC.
It's very obvious.

i think the red device in the front is not even a button, it looks like some sort of a radar, with a planet in the middle, and a swarm of vectors approaching convergently or some kind of force field...........
Yeah I don't think its a button.

Humanity aka shepard and his crew have been at the forefront of stopping the reapers so humanity poses the greatest threat, and the citadel (where they usually first invade when wiping out all organic life) is not an option because of the work of the protheans with the keepers and shepard stopping sovereign in mass effect 1. So earth is the logical place to start their destruction of all organic life.
So in arrival, I believe the reapers will arrive (duh) at earth, and this will be where they begin. You will be given the choice to disable the relay by earth, thus slowing the reapers spread through the galaxy and buying time for others, but forcing the reapers to focus more so on earth as well This would also slow any efforts from others to help reach earth. Maybe you shut the relay down as you go through (or don't) and me3 is about rallying species to your cause to save earth, i.e. rally krogan homeworld, geth/quarians, citadel, council, yada yada yada. I'm sure this idea has already been stated earlier in the thread, just throwing in my two cents.

addition: Maybe the ultimate sacrifice is choosing a team member to leave behind to disable the relay, or just disabling the relay itself. another idea could be that (and i think now more likely) not all the reapers show up at earth but the first of the seeker groups, maybe after you make decision you here similar reports from other species that the reapers have arrived, similar to halo reach after you blow up the initial covenant ship, and in me3 you have to save each one
