Anyone else found alternative outfits for any of their companions?

I noticed Merril started wearing a different outfit once I started a relationship with her in Act 2 (Dont ask why, I blame it on being drunk!!) a white armor plated gear that looked much better than her original dalish outfit

Do all companions come with a second outfit if you start a romance with them?

What about Sebastian? I love his armor and wondered if he had a cool second get up?

Thats actually just to upgrade their exisiting armor, i believe some characters (not all) change into a different outfit depending on Friendship/rivalry and or completing their personal quest lines or depending on points of the story

for example avaline will gradually get into nicer armor till she becomes captain of the guard, Bethany/Carver will have different gear depending on if they become grey wardens or circle mage/Templar, Anders will get another outfit if you complete his quest chain. Merrill will get fancier chainmail if you get her to 100% friend/rival. I dont believe Isabela or Varric have different gear. I dont know about the emo elf, i never bother using him.

Definitely makes sense. I was under the impression that the upgrades caused the change, because thats what so many people stated before but I guess that is wrong. I do know that Isabella does have an outfit change, a blue corset like addition, and I believe Varric has a minor tweek too, but I am not sure how to get those.

I don't know about Sebastian, but Isabela, Fenris and Merrill get new outfits depending on if you romanced them. Merrill's has the most drastic change and Fenris' hardly changes at all, he simply starts wearing the Amell crest and a red scarf on his wrist to signify Hawke's favor.

Anders gets a new outfit if you successfully finish his Act III quest, regardless of romance.

Sadly Anders isn't wearing his new armour if he's captured by Templars (In place of your brother/sister), even if you've earned it by that point. Maybe he didn't want to advertise his evilness...

Merrill's new outfit is awesome and totally worth it. The others are not worth me cheating on her.

hmm i wonder what i didnt get Isabela's upgraded outfit? i maxed her friendship and had a successful romance with her, i wonder if its a bug or i missed something

Bela's outfit change is sometimes bugged. If you don't have the Black Emporium to get respec potions, you have to keep reloading the save before sleeping with her till it sticks. If you do have BE, just use a respec potion on her and the outfit will be there. Also, it's been said you have to choose the no love option to get the outfit, still checking on that.

You mean, not bringing feelings into the conversation after your first encounter with her?

I will retry the Maker's Sigh thing because her bodice is still the same.

I had the same problem with Izzy. Using a Maker's Sigh on her fixed it.

Ok, it doesn't matter what option you choose after bedding Bela, just sleeping with her gives you the outfit. Trick is getting it to stick. If you don't have maker's sigh potions, then just reload until the outfit stays.

Varric does change appearance slightly if you make a certain choice at the end of Haunted. It is either an awesome rune or Varric gets a leather duster and Bianca gets more rune slots. Who knows the decision might have impacts on DA3 too. If Varric keeps the shard he gets new digs and more rune slots. If not Sandal makes an awesome rune.

The makers sigh worked perfectly for the glitch with Isabela's outfit. I was hoping for a more drastic change though. Like Merrill's. lol. Still, this helped a ton. Thanks guys.
