The last three years in Kirwall with Hawke as the viscount...
Also please complete the stories of the companions... no need for new ones until these are resolved...
What would you like to see in the next dlc?

The codex for Aveline says she married Donnic at the Hawke Estate.
I'd love to see a funny and sweet DLC on how there are obstacles getting to the altar.
Perhaps Donnic has a former love that kidnaps him or something.

Kirkwall needs some sort of Battle Arena.

i think there sould make these DLC 1st.
1. the fall of lothering - so you get to know the character more
2. get to play year one when you get indebted to what ever faction you chose
3. something to breach the gap between awakening expansion and dragon age 2
4. the return of the qunari
5. the ability to become the vicount and change laws and the ability renovate areas of Kirkwall stuff like that

I'd personally love an expansion set between years 4 and 7 where you follow up on what the Grey Wardens at the end of Act 2 were doing, which could hopefully tie into the Awakening plotlines. Heck, an expansion that added an extra year would be awesome no-matter where it was. I think smaller DLC should introduce branching quests that run through the acts. Personally, I'm happy with the current characters and would like to see more stuff with them as opposed to new characters being added.

I would like to keep using my character...that's all
But I guess that would be reserved to an eventual big expansion a la Awakening.

At this point I just want to see DLC with interesting stories to tell that adds things to the game here and there to keep things interesting (be it new areas to help with the overly repeated ones from vanilla DA2 or new armor etc.)
I do suspect they will follow a similar model to ME2 with the amount dependant on demand and lasting popularity. That would mean a sprinkling of less exciting but cheap packs with some bigger 'bridging' packs. I use the word bridging loosely as they could certainly go back to a previous time gap as well, but it seems inevitable that they will have planned at least one DLC to take place in the gap between years 7 and 10. I'm hoping that any DLC in that gap would be used primarily to further the main DA story or to otherwise show us something important regarding Hawke and the current conflict unfolding around Thedas. With that said a less 'epic' DLC with a fun sub plot/side quest (ala Overlord) wouldn't be unwelcome either, so long as it wasn't throw away.
My pet hope is that they have an idea for a DLC that utilizes your sibling somehow, despite some (such as myself) who might find such a pack a very different experience depending on how certain events unfolded.

- More interactions with companions/companion stories. A lot was left to be desired here. There's no need to bring more companions into the game as we weren't given enough content with the others for a start.
- Explanation as to where Hawke has actually gone. Though this will probably be an EP rather than DLC.
- A new explorable area with quest hubs, be this somewhere just outside Kirkwall or a new district in the city itself. The game was too short imo.

Starkhaven. Just a new city, it'd be better suited for an expansion.

What I really would love to see from DA2 DLC is a story based adventure, expanding upon what we have already seen in DA2, perhaps after the events of the end-game choice. Having to face the consequences of our actions would be fantastic. But I really NEED to have my companions with me, so the DLC doesn't feel like another Golems of Amgarrak - not another tacked on afterthought but rather something preserving the feeling of continuity of the adventure, something that would feel truly like a part of the whole. (So yes, that does require spending some $$$ and getting the VOs back in, but I am willing to pay for good quality - it's the paying the crappy quality I have a problem with). Definitely something along the lines of LOTSB quality.
Perhaps also include an acknowledgement of not only out choices throughout the game but also our romances. That would be fantastic; I would LOVE to have a chance to explore the relationships with my companions in greater detail, romance options included. So really no need to intorduce more new companions as there is SO much more yet to explore with our current companions. Put a twist on the romance with a high-stakes adventure deeply affecting your romance companion (and thus Hawke) where Hawke battles heaven and hell for them... or simply for a friend, showing the strong bonds of friendship/love/family that have developed over the course of the game. So yes, definitely a story driven adventure with A LOT of heart.
What do you think about having to face Sebastian? Personally I would LOVE a chance to face the threat he uttered at my end-game choice but ONLY if there is an option for me to convince him of the merits of my choice AND have him rejoin me on whatever adventures await (as I hate loosing companions). Of course, that would only work for some people as I have NO idea how that could possibly play out if people made the "other" end-game choice *shivers*.
Guess I am basically looking for an expansion which does not introduce a whole array of new companions but rather a continuation of the story and the adventure - as the DA2 story felt SO unfinished and anti-climactic.
Edit: Additions in bold.

No more new companions. Please only use the ones from DAO and DA2. It would be nice to expand on companions that already exist.

Please give us an evolving armor set for Hawke. This would be a quick, simple DLC you could add as a microtransaction based on the same code premise as Fadeshear and the companion armor sets.
Second playthrough for me with a different class and I'm still running into the same problem where my Act 3 armor set becomes obsolete (1 star) as I push into level 27, and there isn't enough armor pieces from the Black Emporium DLC to effectively replace the Champion set.

I would love to know more about Hawk's first year in Kirkwall.
Or about the three years Hawk lived with her/his LI and how that relationship progressed.
How about more about Prince Sebastian and Starkhaven? Actually I would love anything more that pertains to DA:O, Awakenings, and DA2 companions.... I really need more in-depth interactions and information about their lives. Please!
More about the conflict between the circle and chantry in Kirkwall... especially the years when Meredith was becoming more bonkers due to you-know-what( no spoilers here).
I also would like to more about Flemeth... her true story and how she really fits in with DA:O and DA2 storylines and plots....( Wardens, Hero of Ferelden and Hero of Kirkwall) including her relationship with Morgan and especially the ritual that produced a child with the spirit of the Old Gods (since Morgan said that it ws her mother's idea and reason behind why she wanted the warden to take Morgan along).
Anything about what the grey wardens have been up to... or what was left blank in Awakenings.

Since we're forced to have a human for the main campaign, would it be possible to have the choice have origins again for the expansion, with the three races? It would allow us to give these characters some equipment that our Hawke couldn't equip. And maybe a third customizable character along the way. That or... just fix the loot system for the classes...

I would love to see Hawk doing more for what he/she believes, see more "good" in the world of Thedas.
"Grey" have white and black in it, in DA2 the black was at every turn you look/took. Depressing.
Purpuse, I compleatly missed my hawk purpose in DA2, I guess the game made me a C.O.D.
I can't remember the end of my rogue hawk, my brain shut down I suppose rofl. The only thing I fully remember was 2 seekers taking about "something" and leaving. WOW lol!
In the future DLC's i'll like to see:
-More places to adventure as HAWK, not as any of the NPC as main character.
-The remaining companion/s should travel with hawk.
-More interaction with companions.
-I'll Love to see my Magehawk looking for morrigan because flemeth mention her, maybe this morrigan could join the fight and my Magehawk want to know wich side she is taking. Hopefully morrigan will tell more about flemeth.
-My Magehawk want to meet the Magewarden/ herowarden. *HINT*
-Many apostate are lose/lost, my hawk's want to unite them for good or evil.
The death of archdemon left an open spot, put something evil that is rising with power and in secret. Mage/demon/templar don't care, make me care about Thedas, thats all I ask.
-Flemeth should appear more often and drop very vague hints of whats happening all around Thedas.
-More strugles for Anora/Alistar as king/drunk/warden, more war in other areas/places in thedas, let the player take part on it.

I would love to have the option to create a arcane warrioragain! Eather through specialization or an item that allows my mag/will to be used as strength to wear heavy armor and use melee weap... oh wait.. that's not going to be possible right? because of the skill tree restricted weapons... rubbish...
well, i'd love to have some more (interactive) companions, a Qunari Mage maybe? some new terain to explore...
But i'd rather have a good, deep expension pack, like awakening... that was great!

My question is what charactors and plot line should the dlc be or should it be a new charactor like Sebastian was or would you like new weapons and armor?
This was supposed to be in Dragon Age Orgins the reasons for canceling those DLCs was too do the rush job known as Dragon Age 2

1. DLC with about 10 missions for each faction in year 1
2. More Varric-Casssandra talks and more exageration
3. DLC that explains why each character left. This can be 2-3 hours each, one for Aveline, then Fenris/Anders (or both if neither is your LI), Merrill/Isabella (same), and then Varric.
4. An expansion in Starkhaven for years 8+9

Posted this in the complaints thread but more belongs here.
I remember reading a Codex in DA:O A Genetivi one about a grand
tournament held in the Free Marches where warriors come from all over Thedas
to compete. I was surprised this was not in the game since that codex
was the only thing I remembered about the Free Marches when I heard it
was the locale. Traveling to the city where it's being held(or if it is
in Kirkwall) and competing would be neat.
For normal DLC at least. I'd still prefer to see DLC that fleshes out and Polishes what's already in the game though...
