Would love to see a continuation of Sebastians story..it seems like there could easily be more story added to him (in the end if felt a bit unresolved!).

Would love me some more Fenris, but that all wrapped up nicely (but I can still ask! :P)

An expansion going into making use of Hawke for this Templar/Mage revolt would be awesome as well.

Sebastion was meh...his personality was paper thin and the irish accent was more annoying then anything.

I have to say, again, that I agree with the poster a page ago. Just ONE more Warden story dealing with the darkspawn. Bring back, maybe, Howe, and Oghren. Maybe Stroud. A new mage Warden. Or Shale. I miss Shale.

Dragon Age 2 DLC

- A real expansion, focused on "Act 4" content for our Hawke.

- Conversation pack(s) with companions, perhaps with a focus on romance(s). A few minor and a major mission to go along with the conversation pack(s). I want to get to know these characters better, and expand on the romantic element of the game. Maybe a date goes belly up?

I don't know how large it is practical to make these packs so you might have one pack or you might have several depending on what you want to focus on, all companions only certain companions or only love interests as examples.

- Mini-adventures between chapters: first year services, after returning to Kirkwall, and after becoming the champion.

I'd like an adventure or two that depicts the difficulties of being poor and new to the city. Dodging Templars/Guards and or having to deal with Gamlen's always being in debt. What do you and, perhaps, your sibling have to do to not have yourselves, your mother, and uncle thrown out into the streets of darktown? Will your Hawke take one for the home team? Explore the dark underbelly of the city when you are lower on the totem pole.

Perhaps a few new (minor) npcs/followers could be used, introduced who could be used to expand further mini-adventures and have a minor impact on the main game. Example: Make a friend/casual lover out of an npc, who then turns up in the Hanged Man. The npc would have a handful of one liners and act as a neutral ally in any battles that take place in the Hanged Man.

Momma Hawke sets her little darling up on some dates! Awkward social gatherings as a high brow noble type. Scandalize some, intrigue others... 8)

Expand business operations for a wealthier Hawke.

Be a patron of the arts or religion.

Develop a few social circles that vie for the interest of the Champion, have a few missions involved with them that counter one another, some are more Templar oriented, some more mage, others Chantry, others economic. Do any of these groups have social agendas for the city that could impact the player's decisions, aside from the Mage/Templar divide? One group or another more salacious then the others, while one would look to shut down the Blooming Rose?

Spend more money on interesting alterations, additions, to your home.

More and involved (even a mini-adventure from) spending money on extravagant entertainment(s).

- Mini-adventures involving companions (Avoiding spoilers), Isabela's escape; Isabela pirate adventure; helping Sebastian retake his own; deal with Merrill her item; Varric finds true love(!?!); visit siblings; Anders has a plan and it is messed up and or Justice; Fenris has extended family still in slavery and wants to save them; Aveline is faced with a threat/issue that she and the guards are ill prepared to deal with, she needs help being bailed out...infiltration of an organization...espionage, etc..

- Minor missions (Chantry Board) and ambient dialogues and activities pack. This would not be very heavy on experience or loot (monies and weapons and armor) but heavy on activities that make the city and surrounding areas of Kirkwall interesting, alive. (As I understand it, Bioware can look at what people are doing in their games to get an idea of what kinds of general goofing off/fun activities people are doing, so just expand from there.)

- There are tons of lore based content from the game that could be off-shoots for mini-adventures but I prefer companion/npc oriented adventures. If some conversations could be added into some exploration mini-adventures, even if you have to use a camp, then that would be okay.

Note: New locations/environments a plus, fewer zerg attacks, would also be welcome, some focus on getting to know npcs/interacting with them, but this is getting a little off course.

Just one DLC. A better explanation of the ending, then forget about DA2 and concentrate on the next DA.

Just sayin'

Varric told a story, but what did he leave out? There are a lot of time that passed where we know nothing of Hawke's life. That gives us a lot of room for some really good stories in DLC. There is also the DAO route of companions back story for it. I put in my vote for a mage vs chantry war. Hawke could resolve the conflict for the side he chooses, how he chooses.

At this point, anything that would reference the events of DA:O a little heavier would be my ideal DLC, and preferably in the form of an expansion, instead of these little 1-2 hour romps.

Destroy All Isabelas!(Or just the one Isabela). Seriously, it peeves me that she got a set of divine plot armor and a get out of jail free card. A DLC where she gets her just desserts is just what I want.

I don't know if this has already been brought up, so I apologize if I'm being redundant; however, I think a (single player)"horde" type mode would be awesome for Dragon Age 2 (since it has already implemented the waves of enemies design). This could be an extra that is unlocked upon completing the game where the player could use their leveled up Hawke and companions of choice to fight endless waves of various enemies. The new combat is perfect for that (my play through was done with a 2H/Vanguard Hawke with Reaver and Beserker specializations).

It would give the game much greater replay value and a chance for us to use our leveled up characters endlessly in combat. I got to around level 25 and would love more time to fight with the last couple of skills I got at the end of the game. I don't know, I'm just thinking off the top of my head, but it would certainly be cool in my opinion. Peace.

I for one certainly hope that each of the dlc's are huge and include all the cities and quests in each one. IF the plan was to continue this progress through successive DA's then a huge mistake has been made.

What would be the viability of DLCs with non-canon plotlines? I wouldn't mind paying for a DLC that has Isabela first escaping from the Qunari (after failing to seduce them), then teaming up with Zevran to rescue Fenris from Danrius before returning to seek bloody revenge (Kill Bill style) on the Viscount of Kirkwall (Hawke). Meanwhile Seneschal Bran who turned out to be a powerful Tervinter Bloodmage, plotted to seize the throne by allying with Orlesian renegades.

Or something like that. :P
(The above was my imagination running wild.)

I just want some DLC already.

And while the idea of "bridging the gaps" DLC sounded interesting at first, the truth is by now most people have probably beat DA2 at least once, if not multiple times, so post-main campaign DLC would be a lot more appealing.

 Oooh, I have another one!
Delve deeper into Qunari lore. Maybe even visit Par Vollen or something or have them return to Kirkwall (as promised). Whatever happens, we gotta have more Qunari stuff!

This is not about when to buy what, the question is "what would you like to see in the next DLC"

I would really love to be able to begin my life in Kirkwall in a much more criminal fashion than I am currently able to. I think one of the exciting possibilities about the length of time of this game is to play a character who grows and changes over time. As a penniless refugee, Hawke is well positioned to justify criminal acts to him/her self, and it would be nice to see him/her slowly become more responsible for his/her new home with each new act in the game.

So, any DLC that allowed me to get more involved with smuggling and thieving would be wonderful from my perspective. Confronting, cooperating with, and even joining the Coterie would be exciting, particularly if we got to know Coterie NPCs better. I would like it best if this were to be available from the beginning of Act I, or even earlier (say, if we were allowed to play out part of our year as a smuggler/mercenary).

However, I recognize that not everyone enjoys RPing criminality as much as I do, so here is my proposal:

Make DLC in which Hawke ends up mixed up with the Coterie, but make it playable from either the perspective of trying to protect your own criminal enterprises (preferably Lyrium smuggling) from their infringement OR trying to take them down in the name of law and order. Perhaps either joining or infiltrating them could be an option. This could play off corruption in the guard nicely.

This could be dictated by whether you were a smuggler or a mercenary, whether it happened in Act I or in a special Act 0.5. Or it could be a quest offered to you by either Athenril/Meeran OR the city guard, depending on whether you are more of a criminal or a law and order type.

I think having it be connected to lyrium smuggling would be a really good idea. It's clearly the most potentially profitable illicit substance, and it's wound up with conflict between Templars and Mages, which is perfect for the setting. I know there are some issues about humans smuggling lyrium, but that's already been ignored and/or explained away multiple times. Not interacting with it in Kirkwall -- whether attempting to profit from it or shut it down -- seems like a huge missed opportunity.

Also, please include something that makes stealth at least a little more functional outside of combat. Any good crime wave DLC really needs to allow you to sneak around, rather than just blundering into fight after fight. I really hope something somewhat along these lines is under consideration. It could turn a game I have some profoundly mixed feelings about into something quite close to the experience I spent so long eagerly anticipating.

Bone Pit like area with a dungeon at end, just 5-10 times bigger than current one. Infested with Darkspawn and a Broodmother at the end.

The Wardens between act 1 and act 2 asks you for help. They have found out that Darkspawn has been breeding in the area and they are to few/wounded and need your help. It can start with an assault where they are with you but they fall a bit in. Then it is up to you and your companions to purge the area.

At the same time you can add a number of sidequest related stuff to that. Which are all solved in that area. Would love to see some puzzle added in the area aswell, maybe a defensive magic barrier before the Broodmother where you have to solve a puzzle to get rid of it.

There was way to little Darkspawn in the game IMO.

Didn't they say somewhere that the dlc would focus on Hawke,at the end of my rogue playthrough and siding with the mages its says:>We left for the hills where we remained together for sometime until circumstance had us go our separate ways, except Isabella of course(romanced) who stayed with the champion. So it would be interesting to what happened there.Sounds like a new area to me and a bust up with Varric over Bianca because Hawke wants him to change weapons once in a while!!!jk about that last part.

I'll chip in. :)

I'll second all the suggestions to make DLC story-based, with companion interaction. I'd absolutely loathe to have the protagonist separated from the companions, especially from Varrick and romantic partner.

That said, I'd like to see a story based on Enigma of Kirkwall codex entry, and delving into why Kirkwall is a Hellsmouth.

All three of these things would be awesome. But you know what I *really* want is the modding toolset, complete with support; because NWN is still the most played game I have ever owned, and I will be FAR more likely to have the game on my computer when official expansions are released if there are modders out there cranking off some good stories.
