I want interactivity; the ability to change what happens with characters and Kirkwall. What's the point of spending the whole game in a city and hanging out with a small group of people if nothing you do will ever change anything? And I don't want it for some small, 2 hour DLC, I want it for the body of the main game. But we'll never get that.

Agreed. Bioware should have visited a pen and paper rpg message board and just posted a question: What do you expect in a 'city adventure'. It is a common game scenario. The bare minumum is your class reflecting the end goal of your character. The rogue becomes a crime lord, super spy or assassin. The warrior becomes a General, a gladiator or a merc leader. The mage becomes, well all mages want power, every mage in this game becomes a demon.

Little of this happened, no matter your class or choices, you end up in a smoking jacket, and doing little more than errands and answering mage or templar when queued.

More quests slotted into the gaps in the 10 year story (not a sequel, please).

And most especially, better looking rogue armour !

PS Yes I did just buy the rogue pack. More HD and less brown next time please Posted Image

Lothering.

I would have liked to have seen the flight from Hawke's home, the desperation of other villagers trying to flee (some of whom might try to help the Hawkes, or beg for aid, or try to use you), and the darkspawn laying waste to everything. It could have been quite chilling and dark, and I'm surprised it wasn't in the actual game.

In Origins the destruction of Lothering was just a skull-and-crossbones on the map. In DA2...you don't even see the place. A DLC prequel might be interesting.

If Bioware wanted to go all-out, it could be different depending on if you're mage or warrior/rogue, the latter two going to Ostagar with Carver to join the army and being IN the battle, seeing the signal light, fleeing the horde...Hawke Mage could have quests in Lothering that have ties to Origins, like helping to apprehend Sten after he murders that family (Hawke could have *known* that family).

My 2 coppers.

I want the DLC to begin, where the main game ended. I do not want DLC about what happened during the time skips. At this point in time I have dead family members, maybe a love interest, possibly some dead ex-friends, I am level 20ish, I have some nice weapons and armor and trinkets. I've found a nice set of skills or spell that I like.

I do not want to be drawn back in time, have a DLC likely give me a default level and default equipment for that time skip 5 years ago. It is just too problematic and it treads water, takes the story backwards or sideways, but not forward.

Not to mention the original game I assume covers a good bit of the interesting things. I'm not sure I want the filler stuff that Varric couldn't even embellish enough to make interesting:)

Please move the story forward with every bit of DLC.

^This.
As much as I like the idea of filling the gaps, moving forward is much much better.

A healer companion, for extra fun make it a mage/priest from the secluded village of Haven in Ferelden. After the Warden killed the high dragon false.Andraste along with most of the village's fanatics the dragon cult have collapsed and are now rebuilding the way it should be, returning to the cults true orgins. Still the Chantry have intervened and abducted the village's magic capable people and forced them into the Circle. Our healer have avoided capture and are now on the run.

This would give us an alternative to Anders as a healer and a NON Tevinter mage priest. This person are a threat to the Chantry, not the way Anders are but by being an having access to evidence that Andraste was a mage, just as they preach in the Tevinter,

I want to see an expansion where Cassandra finally meets up with Hawke which will end Hawke's story in a genuinely good way. And please, make it at least 10-15 hours.

I'd like to see stuff that both expanded upon the existing campaign and continued it. The thing that most frustrated me about Awakening -- which I'm aware was an expansion rather than strictly DLC -- was that none of it was retroactive.

Oh, and we really need stuff that plugs into the main campaign that emphasises that Kirkwall is on a Hellmouth. Leaving that stuff in minor codex entries that plenty of players won't find/read wasn't a good call.

An alternative is to whip up other people's story, Choose a DA2 savegame for a basis on what Hawke are and let him/her and companions have cameo apperances based on that. For instance Athendriel have just lost Hawke since the servitude year is up and you and some other low lives are recruited as replacements, then you got to survive a gang war, and so on.

I would like to finish my war against the Templars or at the very least end the war on terms favorable to the mages.

I'll never get all the achievements for this game. I simply cannot stand religious zealots, especially those who use their religion to justify atrocities.

I would like to see an expansion pack of Tevinter Imperium. Most notably, the Champion and Fenris/Anders going there to battle a league of magisters that are seeking to rule not just all of Tevinter but all of Fereldan, because Fereldan is still in a weakened state from such a devastating loss of people and it's cities. Lessened overall population, whether be it by deaths and/or fleeing the country would make rebuilding of Fereldan a slow progress even in ten years time.

I think it could work with the idea that the Champion hears (by way of a messenger) that so many of Fereldans ended up in slavers hands only to be sold to Tevinter, but for an elite group of magisters, using them to draw a blood bath to be used for a grand ceremony to gain more power. But that the other magisters were unaware of this deed until now.

And possibly you could use this as a reason for Hawke and Anders/Fenris to travel there and with the help of a decent magister (the one who sent word to you in the first place) from there that never killed anyone but used only a few willing servants that donated blood now and then to sustain him so he could retain some power and not be overthrown/killed and be captured by other magisters which meant death for certain since they use them for sacrifices.

I think it would be a great to see how Fenris reacts to the idea of killing the magisters and this magister that has a softened heart to his slaves/servants. Perhaps the notion that he(the magister companion ) has been in love with one in his domain that the slaves have come to the idea of helping him stay in power and would like to see him succeed in taking out the ring of magisters.

This could mean including a really great Tevinter magister companion that helps you gain power to defeat the magisters. And Fenris's doubts to him or Anders temptations of power yet torn with Justice's Vengeance for all those that are being killed by way of blood magic.
For guys it would mean Merrill as well.

For Fenris, getting to free all slaves is what he would like. But the idea came to me in that word of the death of Danarius lead back to the magisters that there was a slave that was freed by help of the Champion, and not only freed a powerful slave/weapon of a magister but also killed a magister of one of those elites. That act is seen as a threat  to their plan and now knowing that Fenris's lyrium blood is unique, they now want Fenris's blood for their ceremony. Or moreover, the high magister heading up the exclusive league that he wants Fenris for himself[an attempt to use the others and betray them ultimately].

I think either using Carver or Bethany would help in it some way since Hawke would need someone that has resistance to magic for their journey.

I know it's a long stretch but I really like the idea of going into the Tevinter world. And this seemed a logical approach, to me at least.

And oh, perhaps Fenris can recover some memories and unlock flashes of say, his mother, or ... a long lost love. Can you say awkward?!! :?<_< Maybe, then we could see Hawke's jealousy side this time.

Oh, and I forgot to add-I didn't want to edit since it would make it longer- so I will post here.
This could somehow tie Feynriel into helping or seek to have them want him. To try force him to become an abomination. Since Mathehari said if he was to become that that he would be near unstoppable. Sounds like a great pet/weapon for a new High King Magister over all.
Just throwing this out there.

As for DLC, I am hopeful they threw out this little appearance pack for us only for the time being so that they can go over and amp up their planned DLC, or design something totally new if the case was that their planned DLC kept us in the same maps which would tick us off.
If that being the case, then I would definitely would wait an extra month or so just to make up for all those refried maps.
Or how about just give us the old ability to actually select our armor for our companions.
That is what makes rpg's so darn good in the first place, the time it takes to weigh your options is tactical in what you give someone for a certain battle. RPGr's love options. The more, the merrier.
And if that meant handing over some bucks for that, so long as we can get a few looks for them. That would certainly make up for DA2 being so limited.

Just downloaded the new itempacks. The new "daggers" for the rogue looks so horribly ugly that the art designer should be fired and then re hired just so he/she can be fired again. The bow are almost as bad. Will not use thouse.

I want some kind of workshop where we can bring items we like statwise but cannot stand the apperace of and have the stats of the of them moved to an in our opinion better looking item. The black emporium let us redesing the apperance of the PC so why not something similar for items? Do this and I would use it on the champion armours as well, hate the design of those.

Mimes. A city isn't a REAL city unless it has mimes.

It'd like a DLC, or, better yet, a patch that at least puts new cave and house skins to help differentiate the "different" places you're exploring and fixes the maps so they no longer show all the rooms you aren't able to visit. That should at least give a better illusion that you are visiting different places.

Edit: DWARVEN mimes. Yeah, that'd be cool.

I agree with all the MANY people who want:
New maps in a plot campaign.

I would also enjoy one more spec per class...
Especially summoning for mages.

Though what I would really like more than more DLC... would be a super patch, similar to the hi-def patch, that redecorates all the reused maps... Like the ones in Sebastian's DLC... I only recognized those areas after I went to an undecorated part...
