I would like some answers on the band of 3. That thrown looks like it could channel blood and be a seat of power for any blood mage

I think Corypheus and the Tevinter mages answer these questions.

I didn't kill any other character except Alistar who was to be executed by Anora, but the devs have already said that he gets away and is still alive.

No they didn't.

If you killed Alistair he's dead. If he appeared in your game then it glitched.

I believe it was PAX where Mike Laidlaw said that Alistair was too popular of a character and that out of all of the characters, his death is not canon   Moving forward, at least.  This doesn't count Dragon Age 2, where yes, he doesn't show up if he's dead..  They chose Alistair and Leliana to survive.  I'm fine with this.  I'll let others get bent out of shape over it.

Alistair isn't dead if you killed him? I can buy their excuse for bringing back Leliana, but the whole "sacrificing yourself to kill the archdemon" thing really isn't something you should be able to ignore.

It's a welcome retcon.  There's still a lot you can do with Allistair and a lot of unreolved plot holes.  When they made they were working blind.  They had no idea the popularity of any of the characters.  I look at Origins as a trial game.  Now that the devs know what works, what doesn't, who is a franchise player, etc, it changes things.  And there has to be canon.  Allistair sacrificing himself is just one outcome of many.  But does it have to be the ONLY outcome at the expense of the character?  I think not.  I thought it was sweet when Alistair made the ultimate sacrifice for my female Warden, but I don't consider canon.

I'd like most to see the next act (hehe, the next 3 acts at least actually but I know it is not realistic). My mage Hawke just fled and... and nothing! I want to keep romancing Anders, recruit more renegades, organize the revolt and gogogo set the tyrany of mages over the world with me as the new rightful Sorceress-Queen! :-D

Ok, I know this is more about DA3 now (though I think the fact it is missing in DA2 is a shame - for both mages and templars path of course), nevertheless some small expansion follow-up would be indeed lovely and most wanted for me. Hawke's story felt so... cut off in the best it was literally painful. :-(

The last DLC should be where Hawke disappears at the end. It would tie in with the reports that were given about Hawke at the end of the game.

2 more story DLCs selected from the following subjects: Starkhaven, the Dalish Elves & the Eluvian, Tevinter and Slavery, Kal-Sharok/Orzammar, The Grey Warden's "important business" provided this isn't Corypheus, a return to Ferelden.

Act 4 should only be an expansion pack, not a DLC

What, really??? You seriously preferred Origins' combat to DA2's? That would be a HUGE step backwards!

That would be an awful thing and HUGE BIG WASTE of money.
Me and MILLIONS wouldn't buy it.

I honestly can't think of anything to add to or substract from this.

Perhaps the Eluvian, since that is mostly covered in the game itself already, but nevertheless, a DLC detailing the story of the Dalish would be nice. Make it happen before Act III, and you don't have that whole event with the Sabrae clan either, which turned out rather nasty for a couple of players.

Edit:
Hmm. Perhaps a prequel detailing the life on the run in Ferelden, but I honestly doubt we'll get to see that. The Hawke family had their spotlight already in Legacy, not to mention how it would be a tad difficult to create Malcolm, considering how he currently serves as an excuse for why Hawke can look so different from Leandra, Bethany and Carver.

My choices would be:

* Sailing to various islands with Isabella.
* Dragon Age II: Enhanced Edition DLC.

Yes I would pay them more money to make the basic game better. It's not like they have to overhaul the entire combat system. Mostly the Loot, pointless side-quests, and other story quirks. Not sure how hard-coded the "lack-of-choice" issue is. Looking at MoTA it seems to be more of an "institutionalized" issue on the Dragon Age team.

Depends on how much they plan to release really.

If the next DLC is the last one then it should be post Act 3, naturally. Otherwise I'll be happy with almost anything they come up with based on the past two, not even sure where to begin speculating. Could see it being Fade related I suppose.

An 'Act 4' expansion pack almost feels too much to hope for. I'm not even sure a large DLC could do it justice though.

Here's another thought:

There is a huge subsection in ME3 on romance and romance options. What about a Romance DLC?

...Now including such features as holding hands with your LI while walking, random comments. Hear Merril's wondering what that device was last night. Get embarrased in public as Isabella talks to Merril about her latest conquest of The Champion of Kirkwall.

Buy now and we will include free lingerie for your LI at no extra charge !

did I say it had good combat? no I believe I did not. for all you know I could have found DA:O combat pretty crap but thought DA2's was simply even worse.

I always thought a Dragon Age 2 "Origins" DLC would be awesome. Forgive me entering into the realm of Fanfiction, but I would start it with Cassandra asking Varric exactly what happened prior to the Battle of Ostagar. The DLC would play uniquely depending upon which class you are, that is the Warrior and Rogue would play out in one way, and the mage would play out in another.

The Warrior/Rogue would have Hawke and Carver joining Sir Varel's unit and being assigned to guard the Mage Healer Wynne as she tends to the wounded. During the dlc you could get a better idea as to why Carver resents mages and pick around in his brain more since you are not one yourself. Eventually, when the battle goes bad, Hawke and Carver team up with Wynne to escape the battle, returning home to find Bethany and Leandra being accosted by refugees. After you determine how to deal with them, the Hawke family departs, bidding farewell to Wynne.

If you are a mage, the story plays out differently. Carver leaves and it falls to Bethany and Hawke to manage things. The first wave of refugees start pouring in, a battle on the Hawke farm erupts between refugees and bandits. After the battle, Bethany uses her magic to heal a refugee. Rather than be grateful, the soldier attempts to blackmail Bethany (and possibly) Hawke to maintain his silence, informing them that if anything happens to him, his son who is staying with the templars care would inform them of what they were. The refugee tells them they must perform a series of tasks such as steal Sten's confiscated armour, steal from the towns food rations, and finally cough up an sizable amount of gold. During the course of the game, Bethany blames herself for the predicament her and Hawke are in, suggesting if she should just turn herself in. In the course of things, you can talk with Sten a bit, come across a Darkspawn scouting party, and deal with other problems associated with the influx of refugees. Eventually, the blackmailer decides he wants Bethany and/or Hawke, to which Bethany scoffs at. You are given the option to kill him or not, regardless you are later paid a visit from a group of templars and the family of the blackmailer. Depending on your choices in how you handled things, the templars may fight for or against the Hawkes. After the battle, you are reunited with Carver, and the Hawkes leave Lothering.

somewhere else that is out of Kirkwall. wouldn't mind something that deals with one of the 'permanent'  companions.

Not necessarily the next DLC, but in a DLC, it would be good to have some post-game expansion, a little like Awakening. I'd like to know where Hawke is running off to after leaving Kirkwall, and what they do there, as well as getting more hints about the status of wider Thedas.

Something that moves the story towards the start of DA3 and provides some sense of a continuous story.

it might not be in a form of an expansion but im sure they will indeed make an act3 and a half. since this has been bugging me for a while can someone please give me a definition of an expansion?
