Cassandra oriented DLC at some point would be awesome, but I'd also like to see some DLC with Hawke returning to Ferelden, Lothering in particular. There's some family letters that indicate that people Hawke knew survived the attack on Lothering and the blight. Who knows, maybe if you took your sibling with you, they'd be the one the prostitute hit on instead of you for a change?

After hearing several devs chime in on the issue I've come to two conclusions, one positive and one negative:

On the one hand it seems that it'll be a while before we get our oft asked for post Act 3 content. And when we do it'll likely be in the form of a smaller DLC or, if we're lucky, a series of smaller DLCs rather than a full sized expansion. On the other hand since it's been confirmed that there will eventually be post Act 3 content and that they plan on focusing on side story DLC "for the near future" it would seem that they intend to support DA2 with DLC for quite some time.

The dlcs so far were awesome. But now we dont need anymore dlc which just passes between Act 1 and Act3. How about giving a peak about what happened after meredith's death? Hawke leaves kirkwall with his/her lover and brother/sister ( if got none at the end of the game, there is nothing to do:) ) and a prologue chapter for expantion starts.....

Ofcourse EXPANTION would be better but hey we need something to chew on at the holiday:)

No spoilers so this is tricky... I suspect most of the DLC will expand on in game stuff and any potential expansion (YES PLEASE) will focus on after the end.

Yargh, I hope that wasn't too spoilery.

As for =what and where=  I think "romance expansions" are the most likely.

Sebastian taking home city back.
An adventure with Isabela back to Ferelden.
Helping Merill either destroy a certain object or complete a certain object.
A certain Tevinter comes for Fenris.
Anders either tries to make good on a certain act... or decides to repeat a certain act.

SPOIL SPOIL SPOIL SPOIL!!!!!! (?)
Hahahaha, Anders with his certain act loool xDDDD.

Lets see...erase DA2 and make it again? LOOOOOOOOOOL :3!!
Dunno, expand the game a little with some more areas to, at least, recover a little of the respect that you lose from the hardcore players and always followers of your games, thats a start.

Post-campaign dlc. I think we've seen some of the great stories that can be told through DLC, now let's wrap up Hawke's story. So some new areas and new story that continues off of the ending of DA2. Also, boss battles similiar to the DLC- that's how you do boss battles.

Or an expansion. Just take my money, seriously Bioware.^_^

The interest in this game is dwindling. The DLC keeps me interested in it, and even has me do replays every time one comes out. Right now? My character's sitting on his chamberpot at home, yawning himself to death. Come on Bioware, it's dang near Christmas time, this is the time I can buy anything without a damn hitch!

Notice how BW's staff is semi-absent from DAII's boards these days... I'm a bit sad. I don't want DA2 to die like this.

I want an expack that is post act 3 and changes things in the main game too. Do people in Bioware realize how ****ty of a feeling it is to play through beautiful MoTA and than get thrown back to kirkwall to do the normal quests it's even worse after playing Legacy, going back to the same main game after the dlc is just so darn disenchanting. EVERYONE WHO WANT A REAL XPACK PUT TO THUMBS IN THE AIR RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember its NOT going to all come out at once

Grey Warden stories can wait for me. I'm more interested in the Hawke family. Legacy wasn't enough for me. I want a deeper connection with my Hawke. Maybe a mission where he would be alone and we could hear a lot of his thoughts. Legacy already filled the "grey warden" spot of the main story in Origins, I think they could keep the rest for Dragon Age III or Dragon Age II's Awakening-type expansion if it ever happens. I could also coincide with the Starkhaven DLC which some Bioware writers hinted a while back. Personally, I'd love to see a post-game adventure were each of Hawke's choices have finally the impact you want.

Well the current DLC had extra bits for:

Legacy: Bethany/Carver, Varric, Anders

Mark of the Assassin: Isabella, Aveline

So I'd say Fenris and Merril are due their chance. Perhaps something related to old Tervinter, like a DLC related to the Elves that fought Tervinter at Sundermount.

Ok how bout this? If Bioware releases like they are supposed to 4 Dlc's and an expack that is like an another 1/3 of a game I think that DA2 can actually redeem it self in the eyes of the gamers.

I think the reason is that they don't want to continue to read all the unhappy posts and they are probably concentrating on other projects, like DA3, ME3, SWToR, they probably just don't have the resources available to spend it on DA2 forums anymore, and most of the posts are just repeats anyways. IMHO DA2 is a lost cause, I would prefer that they spend the resources on whatever projects they are currently working on, put DA2 on the shelf and forget about it and pretend it was just a bad dream.  If your looking for a really good game and you play MMO's I suggest SWToR when it is released next month (December 20th, 2011, I think), Bioware hit a home run with that MMO, I was part of the weekend BETA testing group over the Thanksgiving weekend and I totally loved the game, I couldn't stop playing it, I didn't hardly eat or sleep that whole weekend, IMO SWToR has the potential to be the best MMO on the market, if Bioware doesn't drop the ball with it.  If you liked the ME series type of game then you'll love SWToR.  Sorry had to put a plug in for this awesome game, and no I don't work for Bioware or EA, lol.

Personally I'd prefer an expansion pack, however for both an expansion pack or dlc I would want:

1. Story dlc, I don't really care for items packs and such. They don't really add anything to the game, they're just more stuff.

2. More conversations with companions, DA2 had more companion quests which was great but it lacked all those extra conversations that that origins had, the ones that weren't importent plot points but really let get to know the character.

3. New environments. I really loved the new ones in Legacy and Mota, keep them coming!

Ok so lets say bioware did release a da2 xpack in sometime later 2012 while we still get 1 more dlc for the time before that would happen like in 3 months maybe. Would Dragone age 2 not be redeemed ?

Personally I think Bioware shouldn't waste anymore time with DA2, its a **** game compared to origins and they need to just drop it like the crippled spartan baby it is and get going on making DA3 more like DA:Origins 3

DA games are not  in sequence
they are just different stories been told about a world the time line even runs along the other story
just like when you leave Lothering at the start of DA2 you're actualy at the same time playing with your warden going tru the DAO storyline
DA2 is as a matter of fact a side branch of the DAO story
it doesn't matter what they come up with as the next game since different things can happen in a world they don't all have to be related
i just don't believe that they have told everything yet, about whats realy going on
and plots and events will occur in future titles that will make you go now i get it (i hope) DA2 might not realy cut it story wise
but at least its got some decent solid gameplay and thats already a big advantage if you ask me
it might be overdone, yes, with all the flying around oer the battlefield type of play
but thats just a matter of opinion and taste
and since we all got different one's there's no ground for disscussion
i'd say that all by all its not so bad but its not great either
at least they keep developing new stuff and just hang in there and and you'll see that it will pull thru in the end
rome wasn't build in a day either

Even with all of what you just said the artwork, gameplay, copied mass effect mechanics, overall design and engine they are using the create DA2 and its DLC is garbage, so best to just redo it all from scratch and hope you haven't lost enough fans to Dragon Age already when DA3 comes out. DA:O took 5+ years to make and DA2 took less than 1 and a half, so there is no time and effort with regards to DA2 and its best to just bury it altogether.
