I want a DLC that cleans up Fenris' Mansion. Because really, living in the house for 9-ish years and never remove the corpses that litter the place?

Isn't an expansion unlikely due to Awakening not selling that well?

Any more DLC seem unlikely considering this is now the longest stretch between DA2 DLC so far and no hints from Bioware about anything still to come...

Yeah, it's not exactly that we haven't had any huge announcements, just that we have had nothing in the way of news.

Exactly! With the previous 2 DLCs they at least hinted with images and stuff.
People get annoyed with me for saying we're not getting an more, but it's not me. Its Bioware who's been absolutely quiet, uncharacteristically so.
I'm definitely not going to be hoping for more DLC just to be disappointed. So as far as I'm concerned (unless Bioware come up with something) there is no more DLC coming for DA2...

You must be new to the forums or at least non-existant when ME1 or Dragon Age Origins came around for the first time. This is not uncharacteristic of Bioware, when they don't want to make any more DLC they simple stop talking about it all together. When they do finally announce that there will be no more DLC this is often followed closely with some artwork or screenshot of the next game in the series.

But the model has changed.  Both Dragon Age and Mass Effect have evolved into serials.  These DLCs add questions to the future of the franchise.  I enjoy this technique.  But to create this model and then to just not talk about it....it would be like JK Rowling just quitting the Harry Potter Series after Book 4 and never saying anything.  Or Marvel just for no reason deciding to stop producing a Spider-Man comic and never mentioning why.  It's doesn't fit the model.  These games and the DLCS are serialized now.  There's no denying that.

I'd have to see something that would rekindle my interest in the franchise again.I'll be getting Skyrim at Christmas, and I doubt I'll have much interest in any DA2 DLC after that. I admit, I haven't bought any DLC yet, and not sure I will. There's also some intriguing games coming out next year like Kingdom of Amalur. I suppose I'd need something big, like a resolution of the Warden's disappearance. I just don't like the direction the DA franchise seems to be headed in.

Well all I can say is that by not having Legacy and Mark of the Assassin, you are missing out big time! You talk about DLC rekindling your interest in DA2, yet you don't buy the DLC that may do just that? Strange...

I liked both dlc's but am hoping for an Awakening length expansion next, something that would bring closure for both Origins and DA2.

I personally loved dragon age 2 and im now on my second playthrough.

My question is what charactors and plot line should the dlc be or should it be a new charactor like Sebastian was or would you like new weapons and armor?

With Legacy out it takes up the spot of sibling story DLC.

What do you think will come next?

A Free Marches focus, I want to see as much of the Free Marches as possible before the focus turns to Orlais as it seems to be. For I dont think weve explored enough of the Free Marches yet, I'd love to see that grand tourney that was talked about in the codex in Origins. twould be sweet. Pretty much anything that can show off more of the free marches though would be fantastic.

What do I want to see? A bridging DLC to tie up loose ends from DAII that moves on into DAIII. Maybe have the conflict between Morrigan and Flemeth make an appearance. More cameos from DA:O characters would be great as well.

Your loss.  Legacy and MOTA were fabulous.

To each his own. If you and Dubya75 enjoyed the DA2 game and its DLC, more power to you. I didn't much care for DA2 and wasn't particularly interested in continuing the adventures of Hawke.
