What would you like to see in the next dlc?

PC graphics that looks like something from a game after the PS2 era (hyperbole i know your bioware fans are a bit touchy so i though i would point out that i was exaggerating, but not by a lot.)
A well told story instead of the magic adventures of plank dood the dullest wo/man alive.
Companions that are actually interesting and new that breaks the Bioware mould.
NO more 1 Dimensional characters who can be summed up with one word.
DO your story developers not have any pride at all.
I mean you never make any thing deep.
Nothing like Viciona who went through rape, Betrayal and exile yet still is a strong character that is not brought down by it.
Morte a flying talking skull that start out as comic relief, but actually has a deeper story that you can delve into.
DO you not miss making characters that are actually memorable that will be put into the great pantheon of beloved gaming characters instead of that EMO guy or that Stupid elf with the big ******.
Now moving on
NO 2 Room DLC with 1 item for 20 bucks.

New trees would be great too. (something to constantly keep the players find the best skill types for a perfect warrior, rogue, or mage)
Things that I really WOULDN'T like to see in a DA2 dlc is a dlc similiar to awakening. It was an amazing exspansion but was completely cut off from the original dragon age. It felt as though it was a completely different dragon age. I hated the fact that I couldn't bring back such great looking weapons obtained for awakening.
Oh and no more dull DLC's. I remeber some of the DLC's in DAO were just mine numbingly boring. Really put some depth into it and make the characters inteteresting. Get out of the routine of the crminal mage or warrior who's behind some evil plot or business.
Well i've said everything i can say. Good luck on createing a DLC that'll satify everyone, although im pretty sure thats impossible.

If companion DLC's are added, a mage where their special tree is healing-focused. Right now it seems like you're forced to take Anders if only bringing 1 mage unless you want to drink a lot of health pots.

You know, Morte is a great character, as are all the cast of Torment, but Bioware didn't make that game.Waage25 wrote...

"Mage Midget Toss? Sure thing boss!"
"Boss, I gotta say, we Demons get a bad rap sometimes."
"What do you mean, I can teach magic? I'm terrible at spells. Justice is much better at this, ask him."
"every time I walk in to a tower, I always trip over some damned mage's shoes. The other Demons teased me for that."
MAKE THIS HAPPEN PLEASE!

THAT Was my point.
Bioware keeps playing it safe and make the same few arch types over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Where is something i have not seen before.
The idea that i will never forget.
OH noes i was being combative so i am a troll buhuuu.

I really like that idea. I like that sort of thing in any RPG, it feels like a really great way to test yourself in a really fitting way. The only drawback is that certain people will use that to suggest that "now it reely is lik strete fytor!!!!!"Harcken wrote...
Can we get an arena DLC? I've always been a sucker for gladatorial games in well... video games. Kirkwall and the "Champion" seems like a perfect place to throw in a nice arena plot. Watching Spartacus recently spurs on the bloodthirsty caveman in me xD.

-I want to see plot holes filled in. an "Act 2.5" if you will. Something that takes place between the climax of Act2 and the start of act 3, to introduce us better to the characters that are major players. DLC like that tends to not go over well in games that have it though (like assassin's creed), but you could spin it well, exploring the plight of the mages and the templar or something. "See what's really going on in the Gallows"
-Warden and Hawke teaming up is a must. How you would work that I don't know, since the warden didn't talk, and there would be two PCs. Bioware would have to do some juggling but that would be epic. I know they can do it if they try. I had an impression this might be the concept of DA3...
-I want to get a sword as cool as Meredith's. Make a DLC about Hawke getting an epic weapon fitting for being a world-class champion. Something legendary and epic, something that can become part of our character (IE: Its identifiably Hawke's sword/staff/shield/dagger). Kind of like how Hawke had iconic armor. In DA:O I used Starfang from when I got it all the way to slaying the archdemon- it was part of who he was as a character. A sword made of a meteor is epic, but, just strolling along and finding the meteor laying around was a little lame. Make us fight some huge monster or go through some great challenge to get a class-specific, legendary weapon. This weapon would of course import to any other game that imports Hawke... the weapon should be all tricked out and give you some special effects/special abilities when you fight, something subtle, not obnoxious. Maybe we can customize it some how. Bonus points if we get the weapon form an unrelated struggle (IE our quest was to kill a monster, and we get this epic weapon through the process of killing that monster- not just questing out to get a weapon Hawke heard of).
- A recurring antagonist. I don't know how you could work it as DLC. But someone as cool as Hawke, but evil. That's one thing I find lacking in western RPGs despite their many superiority over JRPGs- You just can't get the enemy going, and you always kill them off too soon. Saren was a perfect example: People still talk about how cool he is but he was only in like three or four scenes, in the one game. Meredith would've been a perfect fit if we saw her more. The reason the antagonist is so awesome is because it brings out what you like about your character: Seeing Shepard confront Saren shows us everything we love about Shepard right there in the front. Sister Patrice was another perfect example, but again, we only saw her twice. Hawke needs a bad guy like that- or maybe an on-again-off-again rival. I guess... make a DLC all about this enemy, talking about a "Challenge worthy of the champion" where we confront and defeat (but not kill) this enemy, then have them make appearances in Hawke's future adventures. Have them take something form us, make it personal.

I want an expansion to add at least another 20+ hours of gameplay, longer than Awakening, somehow explaining what happened to Hawke. Maybe more explaining what Cassandra and Leilana are really looking for, seeing as they were looking for the Warden and Hawke they definitely need them both for something.
Great job dumb sh!t for spoiling it. You could've atleast not bothered posting if you were going to include Leliana in your goddamn comment.

I personally loved dragon age 2 and im now on my second playthrough.
My question is what charactors and plot line should the dlc be or should it be a new charactor like Sebastian was or would you like new weapons and armor?
Honestly? I'd rather not have a new character like Sebastian. He lacked depth in my mind. His missions were kind of dull and I never really grew attached to him even though he was almost always in my party. Shale easily has him beat in every category.
NG+ add on would be nice and though it pains me to say it, I would like to see something bridge the time skips. Kind of hate saying that since Ubisoft did that with Assassin's Creed 2 and I felt that was kind of weak.

For instance:
To address the nature and origins of darkspawn. (And the Architect!)
Something to do with the Grey Wardens... what are they up to now in the aftermath of the blight and the Architect?
Morrigan and Flemeth. Anything as long as it clarifies what the bleeping hell these two women are up to.
What the hell was that Idol??? I want to know that damn things origins and and destroy it more than it was destroyed in the final battle!
Perhaps also something to illuminate the situation Cassandra and Leliana are facing. It was left pretty vague in the game... ok so the world is on the brink of war... so what exactly is happening and what are people going to do about it?
I understand DA2 is not meant as a direct sequel to DAO in that it is not a continuation of the Warden's story, but the enticing mysteries introduced in the first game were inadequately addressed in DA2 in my opinion. And such mysteries, such as the Blight and Morrigan, are not specific to the Warden, but to the whole of Thedas. If the Champion was indeed an important figure as is claimed, he should be involved in these issues.
Also, some bridging material between Ferelden and Kirkwall would be interesting... maybe Hawke could act as a liaison between the two nations. I mean, as Champion, he would have had to fulfill some political role right? Or was it just a title with no real substantive responsibilities other than killing Qunari?
I personally would prefer resources be put into deepening and addressing interesting plot lines rather than new equipment or characters that do not really further the plot. Phat loot is good, and Biowarian characters are always great, but I really thought DA2 lacked a driving narrative force... I'm not sure if DLC can really address this lack, but I think it can at least answer or deepen some niggling questions raised by both DAO and DA2.

In DAII this political climate went basically unexplored in favour of focusing entirely on Kirkwall's inner problems. It would be nice to actually explore the political state of the Free Marches proper a little more, although this may well be impossible in the wake of DAII's ending.
Obviously if you were to make DLC including this it would have to consist of more than politics though. Nevertheless I think it would be a great opportunity if BioWare ever wanted to branch out a little further into the Free Marches.
