I will give it a 9. I have really enjoyed it. As I have said in other topics I really can't complain much. I have had a blast playing it.

Combat and Graphics are improved. Story is engaging and I particularly enjoyed Acts 2-3.

Bugs, reused areas, companion connection was lacking to a small degree, and my Origins import was basically worthless.

Still, I am well into my second playthrough and having fun. Just not as epic as I would have liked.

I like the game and it's fun.

Don't like the re-used maps, dialogue system and not been able to change armour for companions but i will give the game between an 8 to 9 for now but reserve the right to change my score when complete.

Know what? It's alright. Loved Origins and I miss the more intimate discussions with party members at camp, and the bland repetitive scenery in DA2 does get annoying, but over all it is a decent game.

There are some really cool moments, the gameplay and combat has a nice flow to it, the graphics and the sounds are good, companions are interesting, the story takes interesting turns with some really cool moments.

However, the game is buggy, a few quests can't be finished and there are a lot of things lacking, graphically and content wise. Everytime I did something NEW in a NEW location I thought it was great, but each time I had to return or experience the same place again just made me squirm.

The waves of enemies is a really lame thing, and the sheer amount of people you kill is insane. You kill more enemies than you ever see people in Kirkwall. Kirkwall should be completely desolate. The story sometimes does not make sense, and characters are talking way past each other. Your conversation options often come out the wrong way, it's like you are not in control of your own actions, you think one thing but say a completely different thing.

It gets tedious and is not a fun experience.

In conclusion it could have been a great game, but EA rushed Bioware and they got a mediocre result.

7 out of 10 this was diffidently not what i was expecting wasnt all that bad still better then some game out there but there was no difference in the endings. hope bioware does a better job on the next one if there is one.

DA:O - 9/10
DA2 - 6.5/10 (it was a decent game, with a good story. But the quest system, battle mechanics and companion depth were modest to simply bad. Quests felt to much like an old MMORPG, Battle mechanics were to action orientated for a RPG, Companions didn't grew on me like in Origins.

On my second playthrough, and still really liking it. I love the story, most of the characters, and the sped-up gameplay.

Downsides for me are the "waves" of enemies, and the excessive re-use of areas... I don't mind running around Kirkwall, but I hate the repeated caves/mansions/etc...

I think this game was definitely a bit rushed. I feel like I'm just going to be repeating what everyone else has been saying but I totally disagree that the characters were "dull" and that the story was boring. I did find myself wanting the game to be done with by act 3, just rushing to finishing it. It got old real fast running around to the same old places. The combat was a pretty sweet improvement, and the graphics do look a lot better but all in all they stopped focusing on a lot of the little things that made Origins so damn awesome,

7.5 fun but i don't think i can play it a second time. unlike origins where i played it 3 - 4 times. i think the beginning didn't have anything going for it. i just didn't feel their despair as they were escaping lothering and wished i could've played the first year instead of having a time skip. combat felt smoother.

-The constant plot twists
-The combat being a blast to play (Although it gets somewhat repetitive later in the game)
-Amazing writing and acting (Most of the time)
-Kirkwall feeling very alive

-Improved visuals
-More personal and political plot

-The new dialogue system

Things I thought that were bad
-Many bugs and glitches
-Reuse of environments
-Massive time jumps
-"WTF" ending
-Tiny text
-Crafting and other helpful items going into the trash categories (You don't how many times I sold them.....)
-That you cant compare items until you have picked them up

I really like most things about this game and yeah there are things that are bad in this game, but for me the good out ways the bad, I have yet to finish the game but am almost 20 hours in and still haven`t gotton past act 2.
