I think one important bug that should receive immediate attention is the non combat bug. My character all the sudden got stuck in a tilted position with weapons drawn. Couldn't attack anybody while the rest of the party could. Thankfully a reloading fixed that but its a bad problem to have.

Also once in a while in combat, my character wont attack even though im pressing A. My toon just stands there and flips her weapons around. I couldn't help fight the first rock boss, so I had to turn the difficulty down and use the other 3 party members. Kept reloading the save before to, and the problem would go on and off.

I have noticed the following bugs while playing on the 360:

1. Dog sometimes does not follow you when summoned but rather just stands in the spot he was summoned in, doesn't always happen but annoying enough when it does happen.

2. My import didn't seem to be functioning properly as Nathaniel survived Awakening but his quest never showed up in DA2.

3. I also had the cut scene continuity error with Merrill's quest line.

4. In the epilogue Varric states that all but Isabella left my side, I did have the one night stand with her but I only completed a full romance with Merrill.

5. I wasn't getting the achievments for the Sebastian quest line.

6. I also had one repeating cut scene that wouldn't stop looping until I started tapping the x button, in my case it was Hawke killing the second to last boss in the game.

What!? I wasnt talking about the interface. Its gameplay that matters. Have you actually played the pc version? It
may surprise you but i have and it played like what it
was designed for, playing on consoles.

Only issue I have is freezing... haven't seen any other bugs. The freezing seems to not happen as much if I restart my comp before playing, which probably means a driver conflict of some kind.

Oh and DX11 performance is ass, but I am guessing that's on nVidia as much as it is Bioware.

I did that, didn't help much.  Though I can now read a little of the text, it's still very hard to read due to it's size.  I tried the same thing in Mass Effect 2, no luck there sadly.

1) Unfortunately my guess is we'll have this very same answer which would be very ironic.

If you can't change the fontsize then could you please change the red color for the prerequisite. Red on dark burgundy is unreadable on my SDTV. It's a bit sad not to have to resort to internet to check for those prerequisites.

This is detrimental to the game as I have to up the gamma scale to near maximum for the UI to be readable which means I play the rest of the game in washed out environments.

2) That being said I really wish auto-attack for the console to be enabled. It's mind numbing to mash the A button without any purposes.

3) Also when all the audio sliders are on the same level it's often hard to hear the character talking over the music and background noises.

4) Could we please delete saves/character profiles within game?

5) I only played a few hours but I have a comment on the Dialog wheel timing. It feels as though it appears too late, often just before the NPC finishes it's sentence. One of the good point of the "dialog wheel" in mass effect is that it made possible to choose your answer before the NPC finished it's sentence thus making the back and forth as seamless and cinematic as possible. Having the wheel appear "too late" kinda defeat it's purpose imo.

Guy's, it takes a while to fix bugs in a game, and each one requires special attention. Also, they do ALOT at once, so give Bioware some time. When have they ever done us wrong?

Just thought about something : when the DVD includes different languages a language option in the option menu would be nice. It would be a lot easier than playing with the console menus and if it enabled different choices for voices and subtitles that would be awesome.

If you get the friendship passives from Isabella or Sebastian and group with these companions, they slowly destroy Hawke by lowering damage resistance and attack speed until you are slow as molasses and frail.

When you play games like Fallout 3 and New Vegas, you'd WISH the game could only freeze occasionally. I've had about 5 freezes in 70-ish hours over two playthroughs in DA2, while Fallout 3 and NV froze every 1-2 hours. The fact is...both are addicting enough to get past the freezing.

Massive bug in Merril's quest line in Act 3,
(spoiler)
the cutscene that is supposed to play after you kill a certain person or a certain group of people plays shortly BEFORE the actual quest, thus making it impossible to continue with the quest line (at least I can't).

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but I'd like a patch for the DLC achievements that don't unlock, I'm pretty sure they're already working on that, but I'm just putting that out there again.

I saw that happen once, but I was never quite able to reproduce it.


i get these, its happened once when i met thrask and another time when i met emeric and another time when i met the elf mage in wayword son quest, its happened more but thats the only time i can know exactly when it happened.

In regard to the (clearly widespread!) issue with Merrill, I have noticed that the bugged cutscene doesn't fire early if you haven't visited Sundermount in Act 3 yet. I tested this: loaded up my Start of Act 3 save, checked up on all my friends (no rivals in this playthrough) and spoke to Merrill twice...no bug. Went to Sundermount....immediatly turned around and came back to Kirkwall....spoke to Merrill at home...BAM! Bugged cutscene.

I am bot quite sure what I have to do to trigger her requesting we travel to Sundermount. Complete enough quests, or progress past a certain point in the main questline. The latter seems most likely.
