I don't know if this is the right forum to discuss this, but I'll put it here anyway. Anyone feel the weapons got strange stat? I mean look at the damage and dps on a 2 handed weapon and a dagger. Bloom (2h axe) 38 cold damage 62 dps and Finesse (dagger) 41 phy damage 78 dps. How are the numbers calculated?? And a 2 handed axe is lower in both damage and dps than a dagger? How is that possible and logical??
What is the logic behind the itemization?

If I manage to stab you 5 times in the face, before you even swung me once with the 2-handed sword... Who do you think will die? Beside it is calculated that the 2-handed is suppose to be AE Arena effect, hurt all close to you, while a rouge is only for one target.

damage of a weapon, as I understand, is the damage (or average damage) of 1 single hit from that weapon. It's not about who die first. Now when you included the speed factor, a 2 handed axe with 38 damage and 62 dps means you can swing it every 0.61 second, and similarly, you can stab with the dagger every 0.53 second. The logic just seems broken to me that the damage from ONE swing of a 2 handed axe is lower than ONE stab from a dagger and the 2 weapons have relatively close attack speed.

Because logic has to be set aside for game balance.
If two handed weapons did more damage per hit than daggers, but were also able to hit multiple targets unlike the daggers which are restricted to one target... this would be rather silly, no?
They should have named "Daggers" as "Short Swords" and people wouldn't even have complained, they'd have been swords after all, not daggers.
