Not sure if anybody's asked this yet, but what, in your opinion, is the best rogue build? II'm planning of playing a rogue in my second play through, and I was wondering what is a good build, and what's the best companions to bring along with said rogue?

I tried both DW and archer for a while with full champion set and top daggers and bows. For me archer worked better. DW is extremely deadly up close with Twin Fangs and Assassinate in particular, but they also tend to draw more threat and get hit more. They also to run around a bit to catch targets.
Punishing Lance is potentially awesome if used correctly. I really missed that as a DW rogue. But in general just the ability to kill dangerous enemies instantly and without getting close really works in favor of a the archer.
So... I recommend archer with Assassin and Shadow as specializations. Bloodlust and Assassinate are important to get ASAP (also for DW rogues), but otherwise there's a lot of freedom to get what you want. I'm personally a big fan of Punishing Lance. Position yourself correctly and you can instakill many enemies at once. Oh, I also saw it crit for 13k last night against a brittle enemy
Other than Shadow and Assassin, I also recommend Blindside and either 1 point Precision or upgraded Speed.
Oh almost forgot. I distribute evenly between dex and cunning, but you might want to get dex up a bit higher in the beginning to use the good bows.
