How do I install 267.59 on my GTX 580s? Is there a work-around? Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
You need to modify the .inf to include your card.

BTW, these new drivers helped my GTX 260M too, good set. Gained about 5-10 FPS with the same settings.

Personally, I'm waiting. Judging from the release dates of Nvidia's previous driver releases, the 580 version will probably only be a few days at most.Dromgatti wrote...

One thing though, why only GTS450 or GTX550 for the new Drivers? It seems clear from the examples above that with a slight tweak they work on other Nvidia cards. Or can we expect this driver update on most cards soon enough.

The GTX550 ti card was only just released, and usually when a new card is released, Nvidia also put out some new drivers for it. In this case it seems those drivers are based on a newer build which includes the (or least some of the) optimizations for DA2 that Nividia are working on.
As for why they're only officially released for the 450 and 550 atm, that's probably because Nvidia aren't done testing and/or tweaking them for all the other cards yet, but I'd expect new WHQL drivers for all cards probably aren't far off, given how well these 267.59 drivers seem to be working for everyone.

are these better that the beta 267.24?
i prob wont mess with the inf stuff to get the 400 series and 500 series drivers to work, so just wanted to ask if anyone had luck with these drivers.
thanks.

Tried the modified, and the INF's from the 267.24, 267.26 as well without success.
Win7 64bit
Can anyone link to a working INF for the 480's please?

When I unpack the drivers, my folder is not [...]\\English\\[...] but [...]\\International\\[...]
Don't think it makes a differenc, tried renaming it, no change.
"Required files are missing" (translating from german here).
Help would be VERY MUCH appreciated :|

reposted from another thread.
You can find the windows 64-bit version here:

And here are two links to a windows 32-bit version:

Later in the thread on guru it was posted that you could also use the international(UK) drivers from the nvidia site and those would work fine, but apparently it seems with the wrong INF file (at least the ones I linked) the international drivers won't install properly (not surprising if the path is wrong).
I've amended the post - I recommend using the US drivers from Geforce.com here:
www.geforce.com/#/Drivers/Results/28413
At least until Nvidia fix the broken link on their own site.
With those US drivers the inf files I linked should work just fine, at least they worked for me with a GTX470. No errors of missing files.
Sorry about the mix-up. Need to drink more cups of tea next time to wake up.

In the meantime I'll try to find alternative links to the US drivers.
edit: seems on nvidia.com only the win 7 64-bit US link is broken, the others are working fine.
These are up and working:
Win7/Vista 32-bit:
http://www.nvidia.co...hql-driver.html
WinXP 32-bit:
http://www.nvidia.co...hql-driver.html
Will keep looking for an alternative for the win7/vista 64-bit US drivers...

It's the same as with the 270.32 forceware drivers i used the last few days.
I experienced a few crashes with the 270.32, we'll see if those persist with the modified 267.59.

Okay, everything seems to work fine, but with
8x AA, there's strange blocky shadows in the top left during combat.
With 4x, no problem.

I've heard that problem before, seems the workaround is just to stick to 4x or lower. Unless you're running a very low resolution or a big-ass screen you hardly need more than 4x anyway.

I'm getting really lagging gameplay with Dragon Age 2, would this the driver update listed help me? I'm running an alienware m11xR2 windows 64 bit with Nvidia GeForce GT 335M.
Thanks for the help

Also there's a review on techspot, where originally they used the beta 267.24 drivers and today they updated their results using the new 267.59 drivers and there were improvements in framerates on most nvidia cards across the board, even with DX9 medium settings.
So I'd say if you feel upto it's definitely worth a try. At worst you'll see no improvement or you have to roll back to the previous drivers. As long as you monitor your machine, making sure it doesn't get too hot, not much can happen that you can't undo with a quick uninstall and driver sweep.
You may need to do some searching around for a modified inf file that includes your card though, as the ones I posted don't include the 335m (i think).
