OK so in Dragon Age 2 you have mages get the Dispel ability. Pretty much a staple of mages since forever. Strips magical effects. Good.
But why in the world would the upgrade to Dispel be called Transmutation? It makes no sense.
If they named it Purge or something fine. But it's not transmuting anything.
Does anyone else find this a bit dodgy? It doesnt make any sense at all to call it Transmutation.
Did Bioware forget what Transmutation is?

Wow, I'd have thought people here would know what Transmutation is and why dispelling has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Disappointed.
Use a dictionary if you seriously dont know.

No, I know.
Doesn't make sense, but hey, it's not AD&D anymore

The worst part of this is Bioware knows better. So who was it that was working on this game? We know for sure Bioware knows the deal, they've had it right for years and then they come out with this? It seems like it wasnt even Bioware or anyone who knows anything about role playing elements that made the game.
