Yes. DLC this time around should be 2-10hrs a piece and deal exclusively with Hawke, preferably post-game. Which isn't too far-fetched from what I've read. Mike Laidlaw says DLC will be "beefier".

The idea of a Fenris DLC is somewhat sickening to me. How much more do I need to hate slavers? A DLC where all you do is pout and cry about how badly you're lines hurt and how Magisters are evil would be tiresome. Not to mention, he is most likely the most pouty character ever, seeing as he asked (his sister says competed and won) for the lyrium markings. He's just another self depreciating character, one who is too cowardly to admit to his own flaws.

Alistair  was also really whiny...

Too true.... I call it Bioware male character Whinny gene. All of their male romanceable characters are whinny. Karth from Kotor 1, Kaiden from Mass Effect 1, Alister from DA:O... In DA:O, I really want to romance Sten, but he's totally not interested. why can't we have a guy like that to romance?!

Although, Thane in mass effect 2 is pretty good.

Yea I would not mind a DLC of Fenris. I thought this character was very well done, and probably my favorite character. I accidentally read that he leaves your party or just does not join you at the end, so i used him a little less. This made me not like him so much lol. However at the end, when he is sides with the templers. I said join me and he did, so now I know he is loyal I want to do a lot more of this character.
Please make a Fanris back story DLC.

I'm just going to chime in and say that I'm a guy and I liked Fenris. He was a complete tool, even more so because I played as a mage, but he was more useful in battle than any of the others, except Aveline. Since that was the case, I went out of my way to befriend him, and it was well worth it. He has an interesting storyline, and as it turns out, he ended up being one of my favorite characters.

That said... sure, I'd endorse a Fenris DLC... they made one for Leliana and I absolutely despised her. It's only fair that they make one for a character that I like but most people hate.... right? :D

or maybe an expansion that shows the seekers finding hawke finally?

or just sidequest DLC's that fill in the skipped years?

I loved Fenris. He was my favourite along with Isabela.

I don't want any background dlc, though ... But I'd definitely take some DLC with more Fenris content for the main game. More quests for him, and more dialgoues. :)

I think a DLC for Fenris would be cool maybe not a background DLC but maybe one that hte plot of it effects him the most, which could also been done during the main game or post it. Also it could focus on the romance between him and Hawke if hawke did romance him. But I think the other romance options having DLC like that would be nice DLC. ^^

I love Fenris but I don't really want a backstory DLC because we already have most of the information already and by the end of my games I feel that has developed as a person and I don't really want to go back to how he was when I first met him. However, if the DLC covered the time that he was with the Fog Warriors on Seheron, that might be interesting as it would give the opportunity to witness that location and its inhabitants first hand. Only trouble is we already know how that would end - depressingly.

The problem with dealing with companions post epilogue is that they would have to take into account so many variations. I also tend to ignore what Varric says happened anyway because Fenris has repeatedly told his non romanced Hawke friends that he hopes they will continue to stay together and nothing occurred in our final speech together to indicate that he now wishes it to be otherwise, so I have just written my post Kirkwall history for the immediate period after leaving there (see another post on this), and am happy to go with my own imagination until we are enlightened further.

Another reason I don't want to know what happens to Fenris post Kirkwall is that David Gaider hinted he could become mad as a result of the lyrium tattoos or slowly poisoned in some other way, and I really don't want to see that come about.

This x 1000 please! <3

As for Fenris specific DLC, not too keen about the idea. I'm a HUGE Fenris fangirl, but I don't need to have a DLC based entirely around him. Also, in the Leliana DLC you played as her, right (I never bothered with this one, as it had nothing to do with my Warden or the ofc campaign)? In a way, I think her personality might be more flexible and enabling of multiple dialogue choices than Fenris would be. Depending on your relationship with him, you can see how he changes a bit over the years (he is much less reclusive and such), but not by much. He is very rigid. With he and Anders specifically, you can see how they were designed to give you both viewpoints of the mage/templar issue. That is their function, with Anders having an additional pivotal plot role that happens regardless of whether you recruit him.

As far as back story goes and his escape and such, he explains all of that in Questioning Beliefs (Act 2). Also, Fenris's short story by DG basically takes place in the time period between his escape and eventual arrival in Kirkwall. He gets to a town, hangs out a bit, realizes the hunters have caught up with him, and flees again, moving more southward. In the story, there is also the suggestion that he has met this particular hunter before, so I suppose that could be expanded on. Other than that, I don't really see how it wouldn't get very repetitive, or just be filled with visual representations of actions that we already know about.

Through all of the dialogue available, we learn a considerable amount about Fenris from him, and then a bit more from his sister. In fact, I would go as far as saying that for a character with no memories of his past, he is one of the more fleshed out characters in the entire game. People may dislike him as a person, but it can't be denied that he was extensively developed.

So, what more is there for a DLC to show us?

The only thing I thought was left a bit vague (perhaps on purpose) was the whole memory issue. In Act 2 (if you romance,) you have sex, he has a brief memory flash, and this contributes to additional angst that makes him leave. In Act 3 when he meets his sister, he says "I remember you. We played in our master's courtyard while our mother worked. You called me..." to which she responds with his name, "Leto." Is that it? Does he remember anything else? Fenris believes that the agony and trauma of getting his marks is what wiped his mind, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's the case. Danarius could have done that as well; blood mages can control minds. Afterall, a slave with no personality, or a blank slate is much easier to control than one who believes he sacrificed all for his family. Was the spell dissolved when Danarius died? Did he allow Fenris to remember his sister in hopes of corralling his slave? What caused the memory flash in Act 2?

This doesn't have to be a pre-Kirkwall involved DLC however. All of that could probably be answered in 2-4 hours of post-game DLC, which I think would be interesting.

Uh... really? I'd love a link to that one o.O. I don't browse that forums as often as I used to, so I may be a bit behind...

You know... just because DG hinted at that, doesn't mean that is what will happen to him. It could be used as a plot device for... wait for it...

future DLC!!

Never mind, I found it.

No matter how awesome I think it would be to have a dlc for Fenris, I have to admit this is a pretty wicked idea... Now if only Bioware would take that idea into consideration.

Hahaha same! I like me a sensitive boy :) But I understand where the above speaker is coming from, Anders was a little whiny too, and then Zevran was just a total tool imo. So yes they should probably try out a really strong male romance for variety's sake if nothing else.
