Were there ever any discussions about introducing a family dynamic at one point or another? Especially with Merril, the way it played out I was half expecting a marriage or a kid in the timeskip from act 2 to 3. I think with Hawke it could have added a new dimension to him, with the whole losing his whole family potentially and then starting a new one with an LI. Either way, love how they turned out in the game and look forward to DA3 and whatever it holds.
