OK.
1.) how do I get the console command to work? I typed the little enabledevconsole bit, but the "~' key does not bring up the (invisible) console.
2.) what is the best 2H weapon in Act 2? I just got to my mansion, and I am using the maul from the Deep Roads.

Create a shortcut to your DA2.exe, right-click, properties. Add -enabledeveloperconsole to the Target. Should look like this: "(drive):\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age 2\\bin_ship\\DragonAge2.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
