 Hey all, I just wanted to report a bug I ran into yesterday.  During the Bounty Hunter quest in Act 2, I went to fight the target that is present in the Wounded Coast.  I killed him before most of the cronies and adds had arrived, and the encounter just ended without updating my quest log (or the abomination appearing in his place).  I'm pretty sure he just disappeared when he died too and didn't leave a corpse behind.  I wasn't sure what happened, so I went through and cleared the rest of the zone so I didn't bother to reload to finish the quest since I would lose a significant amount of progress if I did so.  Anyway, the quest is stuck in my log, just wanted to make others aware of it.

Well, as an update, I went back to the Wounded Coast later on and the mage appeared out of nowhere with half-health, so I was able to complete the quest.

Have the same problem. Will try going there again.
In my case he teleported himself right into the middle of the cave entrance and then vanished completely. Hope he appears again when I'm going back there.

Ah - the same thing happened to me ("disappeared") and later on I was wondering why the quest wouldn't complete. I saw this post, went back like you mentioned and he appeared again and was able to complete the quest. Glad you posted this!

I have this problem too.
In my journal seems that I have killed two apostates (I encountered all the three of them). The one in the Wounded Coast disappeared and never reappeared, even when I came back there.
The one in Darktown left an unlootable corpse that is still laying there...
