Hey Yall-
So what are your thoughts on a Hawke mage build? Thus far my primary specc is elemental, with a few investee in spirit (spirit bolt and upgrade), and a few points in primal (chain lightening). My first specialty is force as I like its cc components as well as the ability to set up a large group of bad guys for massive AoE damage. My mage is solely a damage dealer, I do have heal "as a just in case" spell. What are your thoughts on a second speciality and how in the hell do I get the cross class combos to work!? Thanks!

Well make sure you finish the elemental tree for the massive passive bonuses at least. Also helps in making targets BRITTLE.
I'm fan of Primal myself and filled that one out first and am also a Force Mage. I use Carver and Aveline to STAGGER targets and then zap them with Chain Lightning. I can make them BRITTLE with Petrify and Carver can exploit that. You have elemental so just combine Cone of Cold or Winter's Grasp with warrior or rogue abilities.
I'm planning on Blood Mage next and I'm going to be doing it much like Merrill did in my last game. Minimum willpower, high magic and con, lots of blood magic improving items, load up on sustainables and well... use blood magic.
