I come out of lurking to say this in response to Miss Greyjoy: The cute ones are always crazy.

And to give my support for Orsino.

Oh, Orsino.  Even Meredith can't resist your sly fox ways and staff-twirling awesomitude

Female Hawke: "So I shouldn't slit my wrists and dance naked under the moonlight just to fit in?"
Orsino: "If that's what you plan I might just have to come along."

I lol'd.

Thought I'd contribute my art:
http://pics.livejour...ia/pic/0037se28

I hate to admit it, but I rushed through my first playthrough's final fight, and sided with Meredith, because I was SO MAD at Anders. My second playthrough was on a mage, and I sided with the mages, and got emotionally invested...and when Orsino did what he did, I kind of stared at the screen for a few minutes before crying.

So yeah. Leandra and Orsino made me cry. ><;

I still adore that baller mage.

eventually, I'll get this code right. ><

So, I think this thread is kind of sick and wrong lol... but I was wondering if we know who Orsino's VA is. His voice sounds familiar.

His VA is Jim Ward, but I don't know who else he plays- I THOUGHT it was Tom Dadabo, the VA for Master Varathorn.... but Ward is not Dadabo XD

Wards voice is like a chameleon, so he could be playing virtually anyone... even... your mom.
(I'm sorry, I really had to xD)

I just saw some rambling about this, and figured I'd share something.
Quentin was searching for the perfect women to recreate his late wife. And finding those he needed would be difficult I'm certain. So i doubt that he would risk performing tests for the research which he shared with Orsino on the women he found. Which could ruin them and he would have to search further for new ones. I find it more plausible that he had preformed other types of research in preparation for what he intended. Which might be what he shared with Orsino. What Orsino did and what Quentin did is not the same thing. H2O ain't HO2, same type of ingredient, different results. Which means that Orsino got the research on how to create H2O while Quentin used it further to create HO2. (if you follow)
Secondly there is no reason why Orsino would have to suspect that it was fresh bodies. Part of Lily's "new" body were years old after all. So it didn't seem like the "recreate wife" research needed fresh bodies.

Personally I'm for the circle and templars, but like Meridith mentioned dark corners, who is searching the dark corners among the templars? Meridith was making the lives miserable for Kirkwall's Citizens, the Templars and the Mages. Killing people for trying to protect their friends and family, killing 100+ for a crime they didn't commit. Who cares what Orsino might have known, for me the end had nothing to do with Mages vs. Templars, it was about stopping Meridith before she got everyone killed.
Even Cullen thinks the annulment is too much, and that the situation in Ferelden was "far more dire" yet it was saved. And that... Says it all in my book. *l*

Seconded.
*waves* Since you added "In all things, caution" to the fanfiction links, you may also want to add its sequel. Just saying. ;)
And more fiction would be good... yes? So... somebody?

Orsino love? He helped a crazy blood mage kill your mother and then turned into a flesh golem. I don't see how he can get any love.

I also second this explanation, the H2O/HO2 anology is great way to sum it up :D
Although I'm not quite sure if HO2 can even exist in reality, because hydrogen only has one S orbital, but that's entirely beside the point of this metaphor, I know ^_^

And a sequel to that fanfic is out already? Has anyone got a link for it?!
