As others have commented without any reasonable reply on this and other forums Thrask wasnt set to immortal and dies if you attack the templars. I cant reload and I wont waste 17 hours doing the same stuff again. Surely a fix can be made to get him to spawn outside the cave its not that complicated.
Ive never come accross such a bug before in anygame that has meant my whole game is left useless. What a rip off. I cant get my money back for the game (purchased from game here in London UK, a non import copy) so if this ist fixed I will never buy anything ever again from Bioware and will make sure i can get as many people not to buy their products either.

Agreed Jay, same issue, have not played game since. 32 Hours into act1 only to hit this game breaking bug. Has ruined the immersion for me, doubt I'll bother continuing even if its fixed. Still watching forums tho to see how long it actually takes to fix.
