 Faves must be Merill, Varick, Isabela and Bethany.

Merill and her naivity was just adoreable. She actually made me smile, even when she ruined all my tricking on my rogue, but I couldn't get rid of her, I like her too much.

Varick and his feelings towards the other companions. He is a good guy, despite being a business dwarf, and from a circle of unreliable people aswell as from an unrelieable family. He shows to be a good friend, a good companion and then he is able to introduce some funny comments on the situations, I do like him a lot.

Isabela because of her perverted ways. She is a good hearted woman, really, despite her past experiences. And that she takes care of Merill especially won me. And then also the story of her freeing the slaves, big win Isabela, you perverted ****.

Bethany. The drama of her and hawke is the main reasons I hate playing a mage. I like their connection, the close brother/sister sister/sister relation, the family love that I personally have lacked with my family in real. It is touching, and when she was tainted in the Deep Roads I just had to shed a tear, it was painful. Of course I know she could join the grey wardens with Anders or get to the circle if she stayed at home, but it wouldn't be as dramatic.

I'm really liking Hubert. I love how he has such a distorted view of himself -- as if he's some kind of savior for the Ferelden refugees.

And he was awesome in the interrogation scene. "TELLL MEEE YOU RUTTING MONGREL". "I leave this b****** in your capable hands". I'm thinking about making a tribute video.

Sandal, just an amazing character. The simplicity, the lovability, yet he's so mysterious. He just gets to the point, unlike most chartacters in other games. I just hope they don't develop him too much in future DA games, why ruin an awesome character as he is by adding more to him!

As for party members, i'd say Merrill, just because...well cute, oblivious to the"human world", cares for those around her, yet a dark past. More depth than most DA:2 characters.

Still Flemeth and Alister (depending on what you didin DAO;) ) where amazing, shame for being in for 5 min's.

I was really disapointed with Bethany/Carver. They either leave you till the end of Act 3 or die in Act 1. As much as i liked Bethany (Carver felt...meh) I felt robbed out of a good character...I pray that there'll be DLC so you can reclam your sibling in Act 2...but one can hope...

Varric is my favorite character overall. He's always fun to have around. He's easy to get along with - a total bro.

Combat-wise, Merrill is my favorite. Plus she's cute and looks like she's wearing an oversized snow coat when she has rock armor up.

 Isabella and my bestie Aveline! I take those 2 where ever I go. I love the banter between the 2. The sultry "experienced" girlfriend and the stalwart noble (hot in her own way) bestfriend, what a pair and a great foil for eachother.

In my case the most favorite is Isabela, i find her very original for a companion and a LI, can't say why for spoilers. For me she is really fresh, and gave me the feeling "i didn't already saw it in another title".
Aveline is my second favourite, and her personal quest in act 2 is one of the most hilarious moments in the game!

For non companions i loved the arishok.

On the other hand i can't stand Anders/justice, i liked him in awakening, but the new version is terrible, and he is having a terrible time in all my playthroughs...
