The Hawke Family. Though they'd need 15 year old Carver/Bethany models if Malcolm's alive right?
I imagine Papa Hawke to look like Default Man Hawke - some amazing beard.
That'd be your companions sorted too, dad/bro/sis/Hawke.
Would probably be dull combat escaping templars or something but being able to learn more about your character might endear people to Hawke more.
I like my wardens because you know about their past and feel bad when everything gets taken away from them.
When fleeing Lothering I have no sympathy for Leandra because I don't have the memories of Lothering she does.
If you could have a DLC that explains the backstory of a companion, which one would it be?

Zevran - Sure he's from DA:O but there are all sorts of things you could get into with this character and Antiva. Basically the backstory he has between the end of DA:O into DA 2. He killed the guildmaster! O.o That right there is a good DLC in the making.
Isabela - Getting the relic, freeing slaves, meeting The Warden, she's got a LOT of backstory to make a good DLC
Fenris - Perfect opportunity to see more of Tevinter, the Chantry and "Black" Divine, exposure to the political corruption of the magisters, clashing with the Qunari (who they are still at war with)...running into Sten from DA:O. Oh the possibilites.
Merrill has some potential as a DLC only to explain what she's up to after the end of DA 2, not backstory. Her backstory wasn't intense. She was with her clan then got enthralled by the alluvian after the debacle with Tamlen and the Dalish Warden. I think her interesting story would come out going forward not backward. Ditto for Aveline.

Definitely Fenris (as if my sig didn't give it away), but Varric and Issy would definitely be fun to explore as well IMO.

Fenris, his past fits well into the description of 'Dark Fantasy.'

a compaionion DLC... none of them really have said there pasts was that intresting. Isa's stories are mainly on board ship. Varric IMO its more of trying to keep people away from his brother. (tho Varric and wanting to find out why he names his crossbow that would be good)
Anders... honestly unless we are going to be playing on how he constaly escaped the circle in his idiotic ways then I don't see that as a very informative DLC
Fenris sounds moe hack and slash considering he lost his memory and is just trying to survive.
Merrial... while I would like to know how she concated that demon. it seems that really she was being obsessive over the mirror and Tamalen.
The only one I'm really intrested in is Felemith, tho I seriously doubt we will see anything from her till DA3

For me it would have to be Isabella because we don't know anything about her other then she stold the book Varric because we also don't know much about he's back story and finally Anders because he never actually told us why he left the Grey Wardens.

I want DLC that actually lets me plat Fenris's backstory, he has to have a fascinating one, first a slave, then living with Qunari, then killing them.
