Can anyone confirm you cant get Isabela if you are already past act 1? Is this just a bug / poor game design? Really would have been nice to get some kind of warning before I passed the point of no return... I did all the quests in act 1 (but never visited the bar at the right time) and just assumed she wouldnt show up till act 2. Now I am far into act 2 and have no saves from act 1 :(

Thanks for any info

No you cannot, load the game to an earlier file (act 1) or start over) and after you get Anders go to the hanging man to initiate her quest.
Isabel has 2 bugs, firstly do not pick up the letter when you do her quest before she finishes speaking or you won't be able to enter the next area, secondly don't become friends with her, she's glitched and your character will be permenently slowed down if you do.

I wish I was making this up. :crying:

Well thats just great.. I was hoping to get a double rogue team going, but I am just **** out of luck? I have no saves from act 1, and no way I am starting over from scratch...

What about that Fenris guy, was he a rogue? I never got him either... let me guess, I needed to get him in act 1 too?

You had guessed correctly serah sucks to be you I guess.

Edit: Fenris is a warrior who specializes in two-handed weapons.

What the hell bioware? Thanks thats a ton of content I am going to miss out on due to your ****** poor game design. There is no reason why you should punish people because they didnt visit some random tavern at some random point in the game.

For dragon age 3 you should make it so you cant get to the final act unless you hold X and the Left Trigger immediately after the second cutscene, but BEFORE you slay the big ogre. That would make about as much sense as this.

do you mean like a character telling you, you should put all your affairs in order because you dont know when you will be back?

This is like Lothering. It's not 'poor game design' that you ignore the game's warnings and charge on without considering what's going on.

The next time a character asks, "Do you have all your affairs in order? Because once we start this, there's no going back!" You might want to pause and consider whether you have all your affairs in order. Such, as, I don't know -- making sure you recruited your party members?

How can you do all the quests and not get Fenris when you get him from a quest? Unless your idea of doing all quests is going to the quest giver and telling them you're not interested.

Also right after doing Anders who is required to get Isabela you get a quest to go to the Hanged Man and talk to Varric. I guess you missed that quest as well or else you would have got Isabela.

i didn't get her either i didn't see anything about her too altho i wasn't looking too hard i though hmm all quests are gone when i looked on the map time to go to varric .. yeah it would've been nice to have a rogue that didn't just shoot arrows but ehh idc anymore its not worth replaying to me just to see all the characters when i didn't like that game

you chose to ignore a quest to speak to varric given to you to trigger isabella's cut scene, you chose to ignore 2 warnings bartrand gives you to finish up all your business, you can only be spoonfed so much
