Brief Summary:
I unintentionally created a new account for Dragon
Age (this one in fact) before I realized you could use your old Bioware
username. I redeemed my promo codes on this account and registered the
game here as well. When I realized this mistake, I wanted to go back to
using my Bioware username and "deleted" my new account.
Details:
~When I "deleted" my account on the social page, all it seemed to do was
delete my profile's user name, so that it no longer displays on the
main page.
~I was able to register the game again with my older
account name, but could not redeem the promotions again with the new
account. As a result I can login to my old account in game, but cannot
play my saved games with it.
~I can login to my new account
(this one) and play those saves, as well as see my character/stats page
on the social site, I can also see my old profile page, it just no
longer has a username attached to it.
Desired Outcome:
I would really like to move my promo codes over to my old Bioware
account. Failing that, I'd like my old account name used for (this
account). Or at the very least, I want to restore my social profile
even if I have to use this username.
I've sent an email to EA about this, not sure if that will help. Any other ideas? Any hope that a Bioware moderator could help?
