When is the DX11 issue going to be fixed where the game stutters to a near crawl during (certain) cutscenes and conversations??
This issue really takes away from the immersion. To make clear, I turned off DX11 and still used the HR textures and the issue went away. I noticed that if using DX11 and I turned off AA,, it helped a somewhat, but the stuttering was still there. If I use 8X AA without DX11 and still have the high res textures on, it is smooth as silk. This tells me that DX11 is the culprit in the game.
Update for DX11??

I don't think anyone can, or has tried to run this game on a DX 9 card. GeForce 8 series and above cards support DX 10, and DX 10 is supported by selecting the DX 11 renderer, which is backwards compatible, and the High graphics setting, which says uses DX 10 effects.
If you have an NVIDIA card, try the modded .inf 267.59 drivers, they do help alot.

I second trying the 267.59 drivers.
They're WHQL drivers, but currently only released for the 450 and 550 cards, however with a modified inf file you can install them on other cards as well. Many of us have found major improvements with DX11 peformance and some people with DX10 cards have also found major improvements with DX10 performance using these.

Yea, I guess I could have listed my specs:
2XRadeon 5870 (Crossfire)
i7 950
160gig Intel X25-M SSD
I won't use that beta 11.4 driver that was listed as a possible fix by one of the mods here. I tried it, and got the blue screen. It seemed to help a little bit, but caused other issues. When that driver is WHQL approved, then I will try it. I just think that Bioware should be the testers, not the people like us who bought the game and give feedback on the backs of our own money.
