Dude, "I'll never forget you", absolutely. It's one of the most stupid, out of context things I've ever seen. They managed to totally screw up a clichè. I actually beleive someone was having a ball with that, it's absolutely impossible that at no point during story development and voice recording nobody stood up and said "THIS! THIS MUST BE STOPPED!"
