I have been playing a Rogue on Nightmare primarily with Avelline (Tank), Anders (Regroup/Healing + Primal CCC) and either Merril (Blood Mage + Primal CCC) or Fenris (DPS + 2nd Tank). However, it's so challenging that occasionally i have to drop down to Hard mode. (Thanks Rock Wraith! :-)

I started exclusively as a DW build but after finding an excellent bow (Storm), I realized the flexibility of the Rogue and the benefits of cross class combos means it's best to put a few points into Archery as well. Not to mention the fact that sometimes all companions have died and my rogue was able to win the battle by running away and kiting.

I'm thinking of respeccing and/or my next Rogue playthrough with the following build:
